Teach Plus are currently working with a friendly and supportive 3-form entry primary school in Waltham Forest who are looking for a dedicated SATs Booster Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Job Responsibilities
In this SATs Booster Teaching Assistant role, you will be expected to:
Deliver small group booster sessions focused on SATs preparation (primarily Maths and English)
Support pupils with targeted interventions in reading, writing, SPaG, and arithmetic
Work closely with the class teacher to identify gaps in learning and track progress
Provide 1:1 support where required, adapting work to meet individual needs
Help build pupil confidence and improve exam technique through structured practice
Support classroom learning when not delivering interventions
Encourage positive behaviour and maintain a focused learning environment
Qualifications/Experience
Previous experience supporting KS2 pupils (ideally Year 6)
Confident delivering interventions and SATs-focused booster sessions
Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly English and Maths
Experience supporting pupils with SEND and/or EAL is desirable
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
Right to work in the UK

Qualifications/Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
Proven experience in a SEND leadership role or SENCo position.
Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory responsibilities.
Experience working with a range of additional needs, including EHCPs.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to influence staff and school policy.
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
