Tremco Field Safety Engineer
General Purpose:
Under the direction of the Assistant Safety Director, the Field Safety Engineer will be responsible for providing support and safety oversight to regional Roofing and Weatherproofing Technologies field employees (including but not limited to Sales, Roofing Advisors, CSS, Field Resource Representatives, and leadership), ensuring site compliance with corporate and client safety standards, as well as ensuring site safety policies and procedures are aligned with governmental regulations. This position will provide supervision and coordination of the day-to-day safety requirements of jobsites.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide support to projects by maintaining a visible presence and conducting site visits to perform safety audits and safety process audits (e.g., safety document evaluation/compliance) *this should take place at least 80% of the week* Enforce all Federal, State, local, owner and Tremco regulations throughout all Roofing regional projects. Assist site leadership to develop site-specific safety programs aligned with Tremco Field Services Safety policies and instruct supervisors on safety procedures, planning and equipment. Assist Regional Field Safety Managers with rolling out new safety initiatives and briefing employees as needed on new policies, or changes in existing policies, to keep current (e.g., Daily Task Planning, 100% audit compliance, safety training programs) Educate the workforce and regional leadership on understanding Tremco's safety cultural advancements, such as safety leadership and safety management systems. Assist in the coaching, mentoring and implementation of Tremco Health and Safety programs in the field, to ensure that all safety expectations are understood and met. Participate with and/or conduct Toolbox Talk Meetings with Regional team employees. Regularly review and be familiar with all applicable legislation and applicable standards, to ensure compliance. Effectively represent our Tremco safety culture with our subcontractors and help Tremco site leadership to ensure complete compliance of our subcontractors to applicable rules and regulations (Federal, State, local, owner, Tremco and their own). Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure safety practices and policies are being adhered to effectively. As a direct report to, regularly communicate safety audit results and/or field safety concerns (e.g., Stop Work Authority) with Assistant Safety Director and prepare observation reports as needed. Regularly audit the Site-Specific Safety and Health Plans for compliance and update to ensure the alignment with project scope and conditions. Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately per the Tremco Incident Notification Policy. Participate and assist all field leadership in the investigation of incidents to determine root cause, and corrective actions where necessary. Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up on and completed. Monitor and follow up on modified workers in the field. Must adhere to all company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Occupational Health & Safety preferred) or 5+ Years of Construction experience with high school diploma. Minimum of two years of construction safety field experience required. OSHA 10- and 30-hour certification required. Knowledge of the 1926 OSHA Regulations. Working Knowledge on how to develop, implement, and audit a Daily Task Analysis for Employees and Subcontractors. Proficient written and oral communication skills. Proficient Computer Skills- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willingness to travel/work remotely 80% or greater

The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $53,000 and $66,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.

Strong ability to read and understand electrical control drawings.

Maintain, refurbish, repair, return, store or dispose of all types of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical equipment within the Positive Solutions Workshop, including stock held on behalf of our customers, to the highest standard and within agreed timescales.

Accurately complete and maintain all Workshop/Configuration records within an acceptable time scale in a precise, legible manner.
Manage stock: including accurate receipt - booking in stock purchased into the stock management system, regular stock counts in accordance with defined timescales, monitoring usage, ensuring stock rotation principals are employed at all times and that goods are dispatched in a timely and efficient manner.
Monitor and maintain suitable minimum stock levels of all company packaging, including its distribution, and for repaired re-usable stock in line with Field Engineer’s usage
Quarantine and process according to the appropriate work instructions any non conforming items
Accurately pick stock required for configuration and repairs ensuring that the transfer of stock is managed through the company stock management system so that accurate records are maintained.
Communicate efficiently and professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
Adhere to all operating procedures and work instructions, maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with BS EN ISO 9001 and 27001.

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead grid service projects within the EMEA region. This individual will oversee the entire lifecycle of medium to large-scale projects, including grid and substation projects, supporting diverse clients and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and third-party contractors. Role Overview Due to increasing demand, a rapidly growing team is seeking a Grid & Electrical Lead EMEA to oversee electrical and grid capabilities, supporting various projects within the UK and across the EMEA region.This role involves managing resources to meet project design requirements, maintaining delivery schedules, and liaising with clients. The focus will be on solutions such as wind, solar PV, BESS, and other renewables, particularly in the balance of plant, grid connection, and transmission infrastructure. Additional responsibilities include supporting business development through bids, proposals, and EPC tendering processes, as well as mentoring and developing a team of Electrical Engineers, including graduate engineers.This is a technical specialist position requiring leadership and supervision of a growing team of engineers. The successful candidate will provide direction to global design teams producing drawings, SLDs, studies, and reports. Key ResponsibilitiesActs as a technical specialist, offering guidance and consultation to project teams, while leading the EMEA Electrical Engineering team, including collaboration with overseas design offices.Directs interprets, and applies technical expertise to deliver complex engineering solutions, often across multiple challenging projects.Researches and recommends equipment and materials to meet project requirements.Ensures the development, implementation, and communication of effective policies, procedures, and processes.Identifies key client priorities and ensures these are integrated into project delivery.Oversees the collection, analysis, and management of engineering data.Develops and approves complex engineering calculations to ensure technical accuracy.Manages project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.Collaborates with the EMEA Resource Manager to:Oversee performance management, career development, recognition, learning, and workforce planning.Participate in succession planning and employee relations.Works with global Electrical discipline leadership to:Balance EMEA and global resource needs for projects in the region.Identify development opportunities for staff while leveraging global subject matter expertise to enhance skills and knowledge sharing.About YouA bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.Proven experience leading engineering teams.In-depth knowledge of the UK Grid Code and related regulations.Extensive experience with high voltage (HV) and low/medium voltage (LV/MV) electrical engineering. Desirable Skills Chartered Engineer status.Expertise in renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and BESS.Experience with electrical generation, transmission/distribution systems, and Grid Code compliance.Confidence in engaging with clients and interfacing with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs).Experience with AIS or GIS 220 kV and above, HV substation primary design, and protection and control systems.Proficiency in preparing SCADA and telecom architectures.Knowledge of transmission lines and EHV cables.Understanding of construction practices, procurement processes, and contract administration.Familiarity with project control processes and technical aspects of proposal development.Competence in substation design clearances, CT and PT sizing, lightning protection, grounding calculations, and DG sizing.Skilled in transformer sizing and electrical system modelling/studies.
