• Work alongside the Engineering, Automotive and Construction technicians to prepare, maintain and repair equipment and machines that are used within the Engineering and Automotive department.• Creation of a safe workshop environment, modelling ‘5 S’ best practice approaches.• Taking ownership for the timely maintenance and accurate recording of equipment and machines utilised within engineering and automotive.• Maintaining high standards of stock taking and efficient processes to safely store equipment.• Support with the preparation for practical and technical delivery within the curriculum area.• Setting, operating and maintaining Engineering and Automotive equipment.• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks on plant and specific equipment.• Contribute to ensuring the safety of all plant, equipment and company assets.• Develop and maintain audit and equipment storage processes.
