In this role, you'll visit businesses across Leicester and Leicestershire to carry out Health, Safety, and Welfare assessments before young people begin their Work Experience placements. You'll need to be based locally and have a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle.Main Purpose of the Job:You will visit companies to carry out health, safety and welfare suitability checks prior to students taking part in work experience and other educational activities. Visits will be to a wide variety of business types with potentially a wide variety of risks to be assessed: low; medium; high.We are looking for someone capable of building good relationships with key stakeholders, assessor will also be responsible for agreeing job role descriptors with employers and for identify other services which LEBC can offer to them, e.g. support the recruitment of Apprentices, and other opportunities for employers to engage with young people in schools and colleges.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

The post holder will be home based but should be willing to travel extensively to schools and other sites across Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
