Position Summary:
Perform all color formulation work for production orders and RTS warehouse orders, as well as tasks to support color formulations. Prepare and distribute color chips or standards as needed per marketing and manufacturing. Reports to Color Manager or more senior personnel.
Essential Functions:
Make batches with provided colorant formulae and corrections. Spray panels. Run color computer to provide colorant adds. Make color chips for Manufacturing and Marketing. Use and maintain Laboratory equipment and supplies for the Color Group. Keep Color Lab area clean and orderly. Keep records and files of work and evaluate results. Perform limited formulation work and Quality Control Test. Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations and immediately report all injuries and incidents to your supervisor. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner. Receives annual training in RCRA Hazardous Waste and Carboline's Contingency Plan and will adhere to this training while performing their job. Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent must pass Color Blindness test 1-year college Math or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 50 pounds approximately 10% of the time; exposure to chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, and Acrylics. Must pass annual respirator medical evaluation and pulmonary function test as required by OSHA (respirator worn 20% of the time). Able to operate, maintain, and repair equipment which includes handling, moving, and hand/eye coordination (approximately 35% of the time). The equipment includes but is not limited to: airless pumps, blasting, welding, and power hand tools.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will perform all Quantity Surveying duties including measurement, procurement, cost monitoring, cost control, reporting, preparation of interim payments, and settlement of final accounts in a professional manner and in accordance with company guidelines.
Liaise and assist with internal Estimating and external resources during the pre-construction stage.

Manage the procurement process, prepare, and oversee the procurement schedule and ensure scope of work accuracy for all subcontract packages.
Manage subcontract packages and oversee payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants along with normal QS duties.
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the difference between cost and value and drive a value-seeking mindset throughout the overall project team.
Build and maintain good relationships with the subcontract and supply chain base.
Attend site and ensure sufficient records of progress are taken on a regular basis and are adequately documented.
Prepare Part V submissions and conclude all relevant negotiations.

The Candidate
6-10+ years post-graduate experience with a Main Contractor or Developer.

Financial Management at Operating Groups and Operating Companies - Though the degree will vary with every audit, this position will have contact with employees in the worldwide finance function, including Segment-level Chief Financial Officers and Controllers.

Periodic contact with the Company's external auditors (Deloitte) who rely significantly on the work performed by Internal Audit.
Education/License/Certification/Experience Requirements
3 to 5 years of experience is preferred. Completion of a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in accounting is preferred. Completion of a Bachelor's in accounting, finance or a related field is required. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor, including the active pursuit of these certifications is preferred.

About the Role
The key responsibilities for this role include working in collaboration and alongside the Team Manager, to:
Be the allocated Advanced Social Work Practitioner for a protected caseload of up to 8 children and young people with complex and challenging needs, risks and circumstances
Provide supervision and management oversight for the practice and development of Trainee Social Workers on placement and Newly Qualified Social Workers in their first Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) within the team
Take a lead in promoting, supporting and addressing quality control, assurance and improvement activities within the team and across the service in accordance with the Accelerated Improvement Plan and other associated plans
Take a lead in promoting, supporting and addressing performance activities within the team and across the service in accordance with the Accelerated Improvement Plan and other associated plans
Responsibilities and duties:
Demonstrate exemplary social work practice in accordance with Social Work England’s professional standards to promote and the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in need of support, protection and care.
Ensure that all social work activity is compliant with statutory guidance, legislation and GCC policies and procedures.
Deliver consistently good and effective social work practice to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families through evidenced based practice which is consistent with the Essentials Programmes and Practice Fundamentals.
Manage a protected caseload of up to 8 children and young people with complex and challenging needs, risks and circumstances.
Undertake direct work with children, young people and their parents/carers and families to explore concerns, build resilience and understanding to deliver improved outcomes.
Risk assess and review plans to build on identified strengths and address the risk of significant harm to achieve and maintain long term safety and wellbeing for children and young people
Experience:
Demonstrable experience of children and families statutory social work.
Supervisory and mentoring, coaching or training experience.
Proven track record of effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience of creating a learning culture and environment.
Experience of chairing meetings and attending court.
