Infection Prevention and Control
First Aid and Medical Emergencies
Oral and General Health
Endodontic Treatments
Prosthetic Treatments
Radiation and Radiography
Periodontal Disease and Cavity Restoration
Health and Safety
Extractions and Minor Oral Surgery
Management of Oral Health Diseases and Dental Anatomy, Oral Health Assessments and Treatment Planning
The use of VR Technology
Upon successful completion, you will be awarded the relevant qualification to apply for professional registration as a dental nurse to the General Dental Council (GDC).Training Outcome:This is a great opportunity to be trained and secure long-term employment. Once qualified, there are a number of routes for further training and development, including dental hygienist, dental therapist or dental cosmetics. A dental nurse works side by side to the Dentist assisting them in a variety of NHS and Private dental procedures, ultimately making sure the patient care and experience is at its best.
As a Trainee Dental Nurse you will work in a supportive environment; we are passionate about building great teams who trust each other, work professionally, and take ownership for the success for the practice. This includes:
Assist the Dentist by providing chairside support ensuring that the correct equipment and materials are available
Provide support and assistance to a wide array of patients
Follow practice health and safety and infection control procedures
Keep the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and disinfected
Accurately complete patient clinical records
