We are seeking a Primary SEND Teacher to start working in a fantastic SEND school in the Ealing area! This is a full time position working 5 days a week and to be successful for this role you must be a qualified teacher or ECT.
The Role:
The role is for a full time primary SEND Teacher, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 16:00pm.
To mark and assess pupils' work, and to record their development, progress and attainment, both at school and elsewhere as a primary Teacher.
Maintain good order, discipline and respect for others among pupils; to promote understanding of the school's rules and values; to safeguard health and safety; and to develop relationships with and between pupils conducive to optimum learning.
Plan and prepare lessons to engage the children with their learning as a History Teacher.
Requirements:
You must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in KS1 & KS2 is desirable but not essential
Must have SEND experience
Be an excellent communicator and have great behaviour management
Have a 'child only' DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one

The duties will depend on your experience and training. Generally, you'll need to:

Training Outcome:There is an opportunity to secure a permanent position after successfully completing the apprenticeship. This is dependent on budgets. Employer Description:The Blossom Federation (named in July 2022) has been working together in various forms since 2014. The London Borough of Hackney is very pro schools collaborating and have actively encouraged the bringing together of schools. Beginning with Sebright's partnership with Daubeney, then with Lauriston and the formulation of the Children's Centers, Robin Warren joined as Executive Head Teacher in January 2021. Blossom began a partnership with Colvestone Primary School in September 2022, bringing in a new Head of School from within the Federation and providing the support and growth needed to help the school flourish. Sadly, due to falling roll, Hackney decided to close Colvestone in July 2024. Monitor and report student progress to parents under the class teacher’s direction
Assist in the physical management of students and encourage their independence and confidence
Help with lunchtime clubs, attend to students in distress or accidents, and escort them on educational visits
Foster positive relationships with parents and carers
Attend training sessions, team meetings, and participate in the
Performance Management process
Complete routine administrative tasks as required
Training:
You will work towards your Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification across a total duration of 16 months

All online/remote learning, no classroom or college day release
An allocated tutor will support you throughout the apprenticeship!
Training Outcome:
We are looking for someone who would like to gain experience and if you have been a super star throughout the apprenticeship course, then we will be looking at long term employment
