The Field Estimator conducts assessments of existing building envelope and roofing conditions based on Sales Representative scopes of work, visual inspections, and documented deficiencies. Leveraging these findings, the Estimator develops detailed scopes of work, prepares budgets and estimates, and produces professional proposals for roof repairs, façade repairs, and roof renovations. In addition, the Field Estimator serves as a key liaison to field teams, effectively communicating project scope and expectations to foremen and technicians through both verbal and written means. Other essential responsibilities include attending pre-bid meetings, capturing accurate field measurements, and providing thorough photo documentation to support proposals and planning. The role requires strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Coordinate the Quality Control (QC) process in partnership with the Quality Control Specialist (QCS) for all Field Representatives in the region. Prepare detailed and accurate estimates by reviewing Sales Representative scopes of work, project plans, specifications, and addenda, identifying labor, material, and time requirements. Identify and contact suppliers and subcontractors as needed for inclusion in estimates. Ensure suppliers and subcontractors without Master Service Agreements (MSAs) are referred to the Divisional Administrator for approval, documenting exceptions or refusals to avoid procurement delays. Conduct thorough take-offs for roofing repairs and renovations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the project scope. Assemble and present estimates with precision, incorporating both numerical data and precise descriptive details. Maintain professional and timely communication with customers, Sales Representatives, field staff, and internal company personnel via email, phone, text, or in person. Assist in the training and development of Field Representatives and "Elevate" program candidates and graduates, in alignment with WTI Training Policy. Training includes: Proper completion of services and related documentation. Safety training and documentation requirements. Certification and approval of Field Representatives, including OSHA Hazard Awareness and Toolbox Talks. The responsibilities will be separated into the following areas:
1) Support monthly VAT compliance for European HQ
Prepare VAT/Intrastat/EC Sales returns in compliance with legal regulations (within the EMEA region).
Ensure on-time and uninterrupted delivery of VAT/Intrastat/EC Sales, including associated VAT payments.
Support data requests for tax audits.
Reconcile VAT reports and general ledger tax accounts, and assist with query resolution.
Understand business processes and develop ideas for ongoing improvement.
VAT project participation/coordination as directed.
2) Support internal customs procedures
Review shipping and customs documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
Monthly review of duty deferment statements against corresponding customs clearance documents.
Review and approval of import VAT charges on freight invoices.
Coordinate data input and manage master data accordingly.
Daily archiving, monitoring and processing of customs documentation inbox.
Assist in the preparation of import and export documentation for audits and compliance checks.
Identify and implement new ways to streamline existing processes and improve efficiency.
3) Wider Finance Processes – as needed
Involvement in statutory and internal audit cycle.
Assistance in preparation of key balance sheet reconciliation accounts for the HQ.
Manage VAT control accounts and work with the wider finance team on monthly adjustments and journals as required.
Analysis / reporting /project work as directed.

About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support a broad range of financial and accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth day to day finance operations.

Processing supplier invoices and preparing payments (BACS and cheques)
Supporting cash handling, banking and reconciliations
Managing receipts, direct debits, standing orders and petty cash
Validating Gift Aid documentation
Processing travel expense claims and handling supplier queries
Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting ad hoc finance projects
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
NVQ Level 4 / AAT Technician Level or equivalent experience (desirable)
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
Experience working in a finance environment and good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be an advantage.
