Throughout the apprenticeship, you’ll work within our network of service centres and on our customer sites, where you will learn to:
Service and repair a diverse fleet of Plant and Tools equipment, as well as a wide range of specialist-powered access machinery to meet company and manufacturer standards
Inspect and function test a wide range of Plant, Tools and Powered Access machines to ensure they meet the correct operational and safety guidelines in-line with manufacturer specifications
Diagnose and rectify complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults, using the most up-to-date diagnostic workshop equipment
Order replacement parts and learn to fit them correctly, with on-the-job mentoring, in line with manufacturer specifications
Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic service and maintenance records, with involvement in daily capacity planning to maintain fleet availability
Develop in-depth product knowledge across a vast range of machinery
Build excellent working relationships with service centre colleagues, and with customers, to understand their business needs and requirements
Be involved in service centre daily team talks (Huddles)
Be involved in all workshop processes, procedures and safe systems of work (SSOW), risk assessments, method statements (RAMS)
Have interface with a wide range of support functions including SHEQ Managers & Auditors, to better understand requirements for continual improvement within the service centre
Become an ambassador for our “Customer First” culture, resolving any issues quickly and keeping your colleagues and customers informed, so they feel truly valued
Manage multiple tasks and deadlines as part of a varied workday in a fast-paced operational environment
Training:You will initially complete a level 3 Construction and Powered Access Machinery Technician Apprenticeship Standard, followed by a level 4 Lead Engineering Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship Standard with full HNC accreditation. This programme will be delivered using a combination of:
Workplace experience to gain practical skills
Guidance and training from an experienced workplace mentor
Industry-recognised training leading to an apprenticeship qualification. You will attend residential placements at a training centre and may be required to travel outside of your normal working hours

Main Duties
1. Follow planning and design activities in conjunction with the current government recommended curriculum (EYFS: Early Years Foundation Stage) with your colleague’s support and guidance.
2. Liaise with your colleagues to work with some of their key children, ask them what they want you to do, how they want you to carry out the activity/game etc. Ask them what area of development matters this will target and why, this way you are learning.
3. Write up observations, on their little steps sheet or a post it note, take a photograph, and always celebrate their achievements, or that they have tried really hard.
4. Be aware of all the children in your room and support them in their explorations keeping them safe, keeping gates closed and inform them why we do this, even the youngest child will soak this information up if it is repeated often enough.
5. Liaise with parents on a daily basis as your confidence grows with support from your colleague’s.
6. Liaise with the Local Authority and other professionals associated with the setting as required with support.
7. Attend and have input on staff meetings.
8. Undertake domestic jobs within the setting, e.g. preparation of snack meals, cleaning of equipment/toys/environment, hoovering up, sorting the washing out, washing paint pots etc out, emptying dishwashers and such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as may be determined from time to time by the manager or your colleagues.
9. Work alongside the Manager and staff team to ensure that the philosophy of Puddleducks is delivered in every area; we are a small nursery and want to create a home like environment for our children so they can explore, investigate, be inquisitive and learn through trial and error all the while being supported by caring staff.
10. To ensure good standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times and be responsible for the health and safety standards appropriate for the needs of young children. Encourage good hygiene with the children in all areas of the nursery, if they blow their nose, encourage them to wash their hands.
11. Keeping the environment tidy so staff/children/visitors are kept safe from falling over toys that are not being played with. Bring to the attention of the management anything that you feel is a risk. i.e a broken toy etc., you will be shown where to record these as well.
12. Record accidents/incidents/accidents at home, but only with supervision from a member of staff, and to understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality of information at all times. Accident forms must be written in black pen. White copy retained by nursery, pink is given to the parent.
13. To develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring needs.
14. Be welcoming, friendly and helpful to your colleagues, smile, say please and thank you they cost nothing and show the children day to day to remember their manners as well. Speak clearly and pronounce words correctly.

The successful candidate will have expertise within the wealth, investment or asset servicing field in a Business analyst capacity, across a multitude of programmes and projects. You will collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to collect requirements, assess business processes, and convert them into technical specifications.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Experience as a Business Analyst, with experience in the SDLC
Mandatory experience in financial services or transfer agency.
Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
Proficiency in business analysis tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio).
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Core Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional requirements.
Conduct detailed analysis of business processes to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and align with the company's technical architecture.
Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Work with development teams to resolve any issues identified during testing.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage project dependencies and risks.
Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from end-users.
Facilitate communication and ensure that all parties have a clear understanding of project goals and requirements.
Create detailed documentation, including use cases, process flows, and data models.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies that could benefit the organization.
Develop test plans and test cases to validate that solutions meet business requirements.
Conduct regular meetings and presentations to keep stakeholders informed of project status.
Work with development teams to design technical solutions that meet business needs.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Provide recommendations for enhancing existing systems and processes.
