You will ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the setting, building trust with both children and parents. As the EYFS Practitioner your key duties include:
Create a nurturing, inspiring and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to thrive
Work alongside the Early Years team to deliver engaging activities and experiences that spark curiosity, creativity and development
Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families, recognising parents and carers as key partners in each child's learning journey
Observe, celebrate and share children’s achievements, contributing to assessments, learning journeys and individual development
Prepare and maintain stimulating, welcoming learning environments, including resources, classroom displays and learning materials
Support the smooth and safe running of the nursery, including staffing ratios, playtimes, lunchtimes and before- and after-school care when required
Champion equality, diversity and inclusion, ensuring every child feels respected, represented and able to participate fully
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school, including events, productions, Open Days, staff development and collaborative work with the Early Years team
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
A proven record of high-class delivery of Early Years Education
Outstanding knowledge and understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework
Competent ICT skills
Experience of working in a similar setting
Experience of working with children in a voluntary capacity
Experience of working with children beyond an Early Years setting
**To be considered for this position you must hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare or equivalent + Paediatric First Aid qualification**
The successful EYFS Practitioner will receive an excellent salary of £12.93 - £14.03 per hour and the annual salary is up to £27,358.50 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week on days. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
**£520 allowance per year**
22 days of paid annual leave plus bank holidays

As the Manager your key responsibilities include:
Oversee the implementation of a varied, inclusive and high-quality EYFS curriculum, leading short-, medium- and long-term planning and driving continuous improvement
Ensure the welfare, development, safeguarding and wellbeing of children remain the highest priority, while maintaining a safe, stimulating and enabling learning environment
Monitor children’s progress, achievement and development throughout their EYFS journey, ensuring high-quality assessment, profiles and records are maintained
Develop strong, positive relationships with parents and families, ensuring children’s individual needs and wellbeing are understood and supported

Significant experience working within an Early Years setting
Experience of working with children aged 0 to 5 years
Thorough knowledge of Experience of implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
Knowledge of SEND requirements and inclusive practice
Experience of liaising with parents, carers and external agencies
Experience of delivering staff training and mentoring
Experience of managing an Ofsted/ISI inspection
Experience of working in a DSL/Deputy DSL role
**To be considered for this position you must hold Level 5 qualification in Early Years Leadership/Management or willingness to work towards this + SEND or SENCO qualification + Paediatric First Aid training**
