The primary role of a Systems Engineer is to design, develop and test designs and solutions, which can extend from components and equipment to more complete and complex integrated systems. You will be part of the Integrated Combat Systems Engineering community, and contribute to the Submarines programmes, ensuring these are delivered to time, cost and quality requirements.
During this 4 year Degree (Level 6) apprenticeship programme, you will have the opportunity to engage in a wide and exciting range of activities, from detailed requirements and performance analysis, generation of test procedures and reviewing of evidence. To writing technical specifications and contributing to the ongoing development and qualification of vital submarine structures, systems and equipment. You will apply your knowledge of electronics and of embedded software to the design of circuits or devices that provide a useful function, that are capable of being manufactured at a competitive cost, and that are reliable and safe in use.
You will be enrolled in the Embedded Electronics Engineering apprenticeship programme; your first year will spent gaining the essential foundation academic knowledge required for your role. You will then continue your academic journey, and gain exposure to different areas of Integrated Combat Systems by undertaking a variety of placements, where you will undertake a range of engineering activities to become proficient in your role. During these placements, you will work with integrated teams and start building a professional network of contacts.

The Digital Technology Solutions Degree Apprentice is a 4-year scheme within BAE Systems Shared Services, Enterprise IT team.
A Digital Technology and Solutions Professional Degree apprenticeship involves working and learning alongside experienced practitioners. It combines spending periods of time at University, where you will acquire an Honours Degree, with time working on real projects, enhancing the skills necessary to develop a long career in the industry.
You will experience different placements working within the Shared Services Enterprise IT team which support all our BAE Systems sectors in the UK and abroad, giving you the opportunity to make a rewarding contribution to the work we do.
You will learn skills and knowledge associated with Data Analytics such as how to collect, organise and study data to provide new business insight and improvements, particularly where information helps us and our customers achieve mission effectiveness. As a Data Analyst Apprentice you will experience, learn and develop key skills to help you manage complex projects.
You will help to ensure that the project you are assigned to stays on track by conducting a range of analytical studies. You will: maintain, update and report on key project data; identify any potential issues as the project progresses and help make effective decisions to assist the project in achieving its objectives. You will be using the latest analytical tools to assist the planning and decision making across the programmes and the Project Management and Controls Function.

Overview:
A 24 month rolling temporary contract position has become available for an experienced office administration & resource scheduling on a long term contract assignment. You will deliver administrative support for the order management and provisioning coordination team. Duties will include carrying out data entry, handling a central email inbox, updating project plans, database records, customer information and communicating tasks/orders/requests across the department.
Responsibilities:
• Monitoring and actioning a central mailbox with incoming queries and requests
• Coordinating between delivery teams to schedule orders and change requests
• Vetting requests to schedule an engineer’s time to ensure the correct information has been given

• Coordinating remote engineers time and keeping their schedules up to date

Candidate Profile:
