You'll ideally have experience with:

Working independently across multiple sites
Full UK Driving Licence

Location: Covering sites across Bristol, Gloucestershire & Dorset
Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking for a varied mobile role supporting heavy industrial plant across multiple production sites?
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading materials manufacturer for a Mobile Mechanical Fitter to carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns and mechanical repairs across several operational sites in the South West.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering long-term job security, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to work on a wide range of heavy mechanical equipment.
The Role
Working as part of the engineering team, you will travel between sites carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure plant reliability and minimise downtime.
Typical duties will include:
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Reactive breakdown diagnosis and repairs
Mechanical fault finding
Replacing bearings, gearboxes, motors and drive systems
Maintenance of conveyors, pumps, screens, crushers and associated process plant
Welding and fabrication repairs where required
