Training:The successful candidate will work towards achieving their Apprenticeship Standard in Business Administrator Level 3.
A dedicated work-based trainer will be assigned to the candidate to provide them with support and guidance throughout the course. This is a predominately work-based programme with College attendance required once a month. Most learning will take place at the candidate's place of employment/College and within their contracted working hours. If required, you will also complete Functional Skills training in English and maths.

The pharmacy assistant will work under the direct supervision of the pharmacist and will carry out day to day activities connected with the preparation and supply of medicines and will provide advice to patients on the use of medicines as well as on general health and lifestyle matters.
To select, label and dispense correct items in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure safe supply to patients;

The Apprentice Business Administrator is a key role within Cheshire West and Chester’s Children’s Social Care Service, which is within the wider Health and Wellbeing Directorate.
This apprentice role offers the opportunity to develop valuable experience of working within a busy administrative environment and acquire the skills and knowledge to become a Business Support Assistant.
The Apprentice Business Administrator will provide a wide range of essential administrative and business support activities to assist the children’s social care service.
This apprenticeship will have line manager, workplace mentor, inclusive employment manager and a dedicated apprentice programme tutor.
On successful completion of the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard and review of performance, the post holder will progress to the substantive post of Business Support Assistant.
This role is ‘Hybrid’ which means working from Council Hub buildings and from home.

Accounting software – Develop a deep understanding of the Xero accounting software and become proficient using the Microsoft and Google suites of applications.
Account reconciliation – Assisting with reconciling bank statements, supplier and customer accounts and ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date
Invoice processing – Support the finance team with posting and processing invoices.
Data management – Working with confidential financial data, supporting data sourcing, entry and manipulation as well as generating reports.
