We are currently seeking a Static Maintenance Engineer / Junior Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team due to work on one of our hotel sites in central London working with the senior engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with the service, fault finding and maintenance of VRV, VRF, chillers, Split Systems, and AHUs
Filter cleaning / system resets / general cleaning of systems and units
Ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
Working closely with the team leader ensuring the site is running smoothly
Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies
Essential Qualifications / Experience:
FGAS or Equivalent ( desirable but not required )
Currently studying or completed a course in air conditioning or building services

- 3D Modelling and CAD design

- Hands on work - checking that the envisioned design comes together in the time frame imagined. The speed of assembly has a huge impact on the unit cost.
- Log and make variations to the design to increase the quality, robustness, cost of the products.
- Project Managing the deployment of our equipment at events/projects

Apprentices will receive training to carry out the following activities in all areas of the Paper Mill:

Ensure good housekeeping in all production areas
Participate in the investigation of events that occur, identifying opportunities for improvements in installations/procedures and putting into practice the actions that are defined

Carry out plant cleaning and maintenance work during scheduled monthly, annual or general downtimes in line with the instructions of the Shift Manager
Monitor and control all aspects of the paper making process
Carry out daily work programmes as assigned by the shift manager
