The Field Engineering team supports projects with diverse scopes of work. The QA Technical Service Representative is responsible for the timely delivery of services as they relate to the quality assurance of Tremco's installed roofing systems within their respective region.
Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:
Lead Technician performing roof patch and repair as necessary and determined by the Quality Assurance Group on Tremco Incorporated roof systems (BUR, Modified Bitumen, Single Ply, Fluid Applied, etc.). Estimate material and labor quantities for roof patch and repair. Perform Job Site Inspections as they relate to quality assurance and/or adjustment work. Minimum Requirements:

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Fire Alarm Engineer to join an established fire and security services provider, supporting the delivery and technical performance of fire and life safety systems.
This is a senior, hands-on position for an experienced fire engineer who can take responsibility for complex technical work, provide technical guidance to other engineers and act as a point of support when more challenging issues arise.
This is a field-based role offering a basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus paid travel, on-call and overtime allowances, with total average earnings of £50,000 - £60,000.
Candidates can be based anywhere in London or within 15 miles north and 20 miles south of St Albans (office location).
You will be responsible for:
* Commissioning and testing addressable and conventional fire alarm systems, carrying out complex fault diagnosis and resolving technical issues.
* Configuring system logic, cause-and-effect functions and networked panel arrangements, using manufacturer software for system configuration, diagnostics and optimisation.
* Working across fire alarm platforms including Gent, Advanced, Ziton, Morley and Kentec, alongside associated systems such as air sampling, suppression and smoke ventilation.
* Acting as a technical lead on site, providing guidance, mentoring and practical support to engineers, while contributing to skills development and technical standards.
* Completing commissioning documentation, technical reports, audits and inspections, while providing professional technical support to customers and stakeholders and supporting compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
The candidates from the following background will be considered:
* Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire Systems Engineer, Fire & Security Engineer, Fire Engineer, Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer, Fire Alarm Commissioning Technician
Ideally, you will have experience with some of the following:
* Gent, Advanced, Ziton, Morley or Kentec.
