Maintenance, repair, installation and retrofit of the company's range of Tapchanger and Transformer products, both on site and in our Loughborough factory. The initial 12 months will be factory-based
Disassemble, overhaul, fault find, repair, rebuild Tapchanger’s, transformers both on-site and in-work as required
Work to specifications and technical requirements
Undergo training as necessary to ensure that current and future H&S requirements are met at all times
Work in accordance with on-site risk assessments on every assignment
Provide written reports on completion of each assignment
Following initial rotation across different departments within BRUSH Transformers, Apprentices will spend time in the Transformer Service Department with qualified and experienced Service Engineers, learning all aspects of maintenance, servicing, repairs, installation and commissioning of BRUSH Transformers. This will include travel and site visits. Following this, there will be additional opportunities for Apprentices to gain broader experience by working on servicing and commissioning in other parts of BRUSH Group such as BRUSH Power Solutions and Critical Infrastructure Solutions. This will involve national travel and overnight stays where required.
