Based at the heart of our Operations team, our Degree Apprenticeship provides a blend of on and off the job learning, exposure, experience, and education so that you can develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to kickstart your career. Your role will involve leading a team of people responsible for the production of our products at one of our manufacturing sites. At the end of the programme, you will transition into a management role that supports your future career goals of becoming a leadership and management professional in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Our Operations function is responsible for manufacturing great quality products for our customers. You’ll gain hands-on experience ensuring that our production lines within the factory operate in an efficient and economical way, meeting our customer requirements to a consistently high standard, and motivating and engaging others. This will include:
Delivering against productivity and efficiency targets
Resolving problems and issues as they arise
Identify and act on opportunities that make sustainable improvements to increase quality, performance
Leading and engaging team members to ensure satisfaction, motivation and well being
Communicating with the operations management team on performance and outputs
