Position Summary:
Responsible for selling all of the assigned company products/services within the assigned sales territory by contacting established customers as well as developing new prospects. Must have complete knowledge of the product line represented, related services and company policies.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for calling on new and existing customers to build sales volume, remain abreast of customer requirements, and assess market trends. Calls on customers and prospective customers to inform them of products, new releases, services available, supply, etc. Provides technical assistance when necessary. Responsible for securing and renewing orders; works with customer services and sales management to provide servicing levels required by the customer. Builds and maintains a sales program within the territory based on strategic planning including prospecting, new business development, levels of available business, and level of repeat business. Works effectively with all company personnel and resources to provide full customer service and assure continuing customer satisfaction. Applies good judgment and prompt follow-through on customer complaints, returns, claims, or other problems on products/services provided. Gathers and reports significant developments within accounts, prospects competitors, and the general market for use by company management in research, analysis, and planning purposes. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Provides annual sales detailing target markets and accounts. May act as a Field Technical Service Engineer as requested. Perform additional duties as assigned Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Business or a Technical degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 1 year of individual sales experience. Preferred: Previous industrial sales experience within the coatings industry. Must have a valid Driver's License.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires minimal physical activity. May require lifting up to 50lbs on occasion. May require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours a day. Occasional exposure to various chemicals. May require travel up to 50%, including nighttime.

Duties and Responsibilities Administration and reception
● Ensure the efficient operation of the office, dealing with front line enquiries from staff, pupils and visitors whether in person or by telephone and to pass on the messages to the relevant member of staff
● Maintain a high and appropriate level of communication in writing, verbally and electronically
● Ensure all visitors to the school are welcomed in a polite, friendly and efficient manner and provide refreshments to visitors/Principal when required
● Provide typing, word processing and photocopying
● Open and distribute internal and external post and correspondence as appropriate
● Be responsible for booking daily supply cover for teaching and non-teaching staff
● Check supply staff timesheets ensuring accuracy and timeliness
● Take ID for all agency supply staff and visitors to the school and provide them with the agreed vetting documents to sign
● Maintain daily staff / visitors signing in sheets
● Update staff lists and staff photograph boards with any changes
Dinner money and orders
● On a daily basis, maintain an accurate record of daily dinner numbers and inform the kitchen staff accordingly
● Order school meals for members of staff and visitors to the school
● Manage arrangements for meetings and INSET in school, booking rooms, ordering and serving refreshments as required
● Order packed lunches for educational visits
● Collect, record and monitor receipt of monies for school meals
● Produce weekly outstanding dinner debt information which identifies those families who require a telephone call and / or a debt letter and contact parents / carers by telephone and by letter on a daily / weekly basis
● Produce monthly reports on dinner type and numbers for the kitchen
● To process free school meals claims and entitlement statements, ensuring that pupil records are updated accordingly
● Order teaching and administration supplies, ensuring best value
● Check deliveries and arrange for distribution to the relevant person/s
● Perform regular stock checks to ensure that there is a sufficient supply of resources
● To record and update the academy assets management system
Educational visits
● Undertake administration of educational visits under the direction of the office manager.
Other responsibilities
● To produce and distribute the weekly academy newsletter and assist with the administration of the academy council newsletter
● To produce star pupil cards and post to pupils on a weekly basis
● To provide administrative support to the Academy Council including taking minutes and producing the Academy Council termly newsletter
● To manage the photocopiers and deal with minor troubleshooting, booking engineer visits as needed. To produce monthly usage readings
● To complete AIR forms as necessary under the direction of the Office Manager
● To ensure all information is treated confidentially and with discretionTraining:

Overview:
A 24 month rolling temporary contract position has become available for an experienced office administration & resource scheduling on a long term contract assignment. This position will be responsible for both selling and generating new business with already established customers while also developing new prospects to grow volume, revenue and increase the profitability of this territory. Minimum Requirements

The IT & Digital department is responsible for the force’s adoption and use of information and digital technology.
The department consists of three core functions as follows:
Architecture Management (responsible for identifying and selecting the right technologies for the force)
Delivery Management (responsible for delivering and implementing the right technologies for the force)
Service Management (responsible for managing and maintaining all live, operational technology for the force)
The Service Management function within IT & Digital is responsible for the effective operation, support and maintenance of existing, operational technology systems, including but not limited to all Force applications, technology infrastructure (e.g. servers, databases, networks) and end-user devices (e.g. desktop PC’s, smartphones, tablets, Airwave terminals). This function manages, and has responsibility for, the security, capability, availability, and performance of all operational technology in the ‘live’ environment whether it is delivered via internal resources or by external suppliers. This function is also responsible for ensuring existing technology remains fit-for-purpose and reflects continuously evolving requirements from the force.
Responsible for investigating and resolving incidents/problems remotely and on site, fulfilling requests by working with the customer, other technical experts and third parties. Take ownership of issues, including documentation and progress updates are made
Installs and configures basic hardware system components and devices (including end-user computers, and mobile devices, whether physical or virtual) as required
Ensure that incidents and requests are handled according to agreed procedures, making judgments on the best approach to handle an issue in the most expedient way so that service delivery meets agreed service levels and customers are operational as quickly as possible
Monitor the progress of Incidents and Requests that have been escalated to the external supplier and where necessary chase or escalate ensuring the customer is kept up to date with any progress. Training:Information Communications Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
The successful candidate will undertake an eighteen-month, nationally recognised qualification through TDM. This is a work-based learning programme which will require commitment to block weeks in an online training room once every quarter working towards the qualification along with weekly off the job training and monthly coaching sessions.
You will be required to demonstrate through the standard that you meet all competencies and behaviours, which will lead to the achievement of the qualification.
You will have a designated mentor in the workplace to support your learning and at the end of programme will be assessed via an external assessment body.
