Nursing Home Manager
Registered Manager (RGN / RMN) | Loughborough | Up to £70,000 The best nursing home managers rarely go looking. You're settled, you're respected, and the home you run doesn't wobble when you take a week off. So it takes something genuinely better to make you look up from what you've built. This might be it. This is one of the larger nursing homes within a small, family-run group that has quietly built a serious reputation for quality, with more than one Outstanding-rated service to its name. It's a settled, high-occupancy home caring for complex, high-dependency nursing residents, with a strong element of dementia care. The current manager is moving on after a long and genuinely successful tenure, in a planned, unhurried succession. Nothing here needs rescuing. What it needs is the right person to carry very good work forward and keep it there. Here's the part that matters. You'll inherit an established team, an experienced deputy and a clinical lead already in place, so you'll be leading rather than plugging gaps. The admin and finance side is handled at group level, which means your energy goes where it should: on care, on your people, and on standards. And you'll have real autonomy. This is a home to run as your own, with support above you when you want it and nobody peering over your shoulder when you don't. It's a group that promotes from within, invests in its homes and backs its managers to lead. The salary reflects all of that: up to £70,000 for the right person with the right track record. The non-negotiables A current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN Registered Manager experience within a nursing home A track record of running larger services (50-plus beds) NVQ / QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management, held or close to complete If that reads like the move you'd actually leave a good job for, send your CV across. Don't worry if it isn't bang up to date, we can sort that between us. Or if you'd rather have a quiet, confidential conversation before anything else, call Tim at Recruitment Panda directly. Please note: you'll need the existing right to work in the UK, as sponsorship isn't available for this role. Recruitment Panda Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. We are committed to equal opportunities and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates regardless of race, sex, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or age.
