As an apprentice Vehicle Damage Assessor, your role will be varied and interesting - no two days will be the same!
Typically, duties will include:
Inspecting and assessing accident-damaged vehicles
Researching repair methods to work out the correct and safe repair required for each individual vehicle
Using specialist software to produce work instructions and costings
Liaise with technical colleagues, customers and insurance companies to negotiate the repair
Training:
Our training partner will deliver a high-quality programme here in our state-of-the-art body shop alongside a highly skilled mentor - both will support you in becoming a skilled and qualified vehicle damage assessor
Once the apprenticeship is complete, you will achieve a Level 4 Apprenticeship qualification in Vehicle Damage Assessor
Training Outcome:
Following completion of your apprenticeship, you can expect permanent employment as well as opportunities to progress into roles such as Workshop Controller or Bodyshop Manager

General admin duties to include answering the telephone, opening and distributing emails and post, handling visitors, clients and deliveries

Successful candidates will provide clinical support to dentists, hygienists and patients. You will also assist the reception staff in any clerical duties and perform any other tasks as reasonably requested by the principal.
Other duties include:
Keep the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriate according to the practices of health and safety and infection control procedures and manufacturers' instructions
Provide chairside assistance, ensuring that the correct equipment is available
Ensure the care and welfare of patients in a friendly, caring, helpful, courteous and professional manner
Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed and being responsible for recording patient information on the practice database
Handle all substances in accordance with health and safety policies
Complete laboratory request forms, and keep records of work sent, received and fitted
Training:Dental Nurse Apprenticeship Standard - Level 3
This course is delivered using a blended delivery model, an apprentice will spend 2 days per month at Bradford College undertaking classroom-based learning in addition to regular workplace assessments.
Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship, the apprentice will be awarded the following:
