My client is now seeking two Project Managers to join them in Aberdeen to work on construction projects across Scotland.
They are wanting to employ people from around one year or more PM experience post graduation level to project managers who have recently become chartered with the RICS.
Good support will be given to project managers who are working towards becoming chartered.
Projects are varied and include healthcare buildings for public sector hospitals, golf courses, warehouses and more.
THE COMPANY
My client is a firm of construction consultants providing Project Management and Quantity Surveying services for various construction projects including new build, re-fit, refurbishment, alteration etc.
They have a selection of long standing clients and are extremely busy.
They are growing and now have several offices in Scotland.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Project Manager either at Graduate level with a minimum of one years post graduate project management experience or you may be recently chartered as a project manager with the RICS.
If you are not already chartered then ideally you may have started working towards taking the APC.
You need to have a BSc or MSc in Construction Project Management or similar subject in a built environment subject.
Ideally you will be working for a firm of construction consultants, multi discipline consultants or maybe with a main / principal contractor.
You should also be happy to work as part of a team as required.
You should be able to help to organise and run meetings, take minutes, make sure that the client's brief is adhered to and be able to keep the project moving to complete on time and within budget.
You must have excellent written and spoken English and be confident in dealing with people at all levels.
You should be forward thinking and ambitious with excellent client facing skills.
