Maintaining a site diary or logbook to evidence competency development
Participating in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules alongside experienced operatives
Supporting emergency reactive works when civils issues arise on site
Power Station Specific Considerations:
You'll be working within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment with strict permit-to-work systems
Compliance with environmental regulations is very important
Security clearance requirements and site access protocols must be followed (full guidance will be given pre interview stage)
Training:
As well as guided on the job training specific to our organisation you will study towards your level 2 Property Maintenance Operative apprenticeship. You will attend college on day release during term time only
A tutor will be assigned to you, and you will receive protected study time within the workplace
You will also get support from our apprenticeship team through mentoring and buddying

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Learning from experienced groundworkers and site managers, acquiring skills necessary for preparing sub-surfaces for structural work to being on-site
Ensuring Health & Safety guidelines are always upheld
Installing drainage systems
Digging, shovelling and slabbing
Levelling stone and raking tarmac
Mixing of cement and concrete
Executing final touches on hard landscaping projects
Training:Training will take place at NHBC College, WS13 8ES and on a construction site around either Oxfordshire, Leicestershire or West Midlands. Apprentices must have a full UK driving license or alternative, reliable means of travelling to college and site. Training Outcome:

With the guidance of the senior leadership team you will support the business unit in the following:
Coordination of meetings/ BU calendar
Preparation of BU reports
Preparation of presentations
Maintaining and controlling records/documents
Liaising with projects/bid teams on submissions and reporting to the business unit
Organising of BU events

You'll receive your apprenticeship training for Level 3 Business Administration which will take place remotely via online training sessions and 1-1s with a learning coach.
Alongside this you will be receive other ongoing training through our BAM connect system as well as being exposed to the many professional development opportunities open to you in the industry.
You’ll also have access to BAM’s online learning platform, BAM Connect, which supports your ongoing development by keeping you informed about company policies, procedures, and industry regulations relevant to your role.

Main Duties:
Support school staff in delivering high-quality PE and school sports sessions
Help develop and lead school sports teams
Assist with preparing for and attending school sports competitions and fixtures
Support sports days, competitions, and other sporting events
Help identify and support talented individuals within lessons
Promote and celebrate sporting achievements across the school
Provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEN or disabilities where appropriate and under supervision
Support joint working with external organisations and partners
Assist with setting up, taking down, and storing sports equipment
Complete and maintain appropriate data and administrative tasks associated with the role
Promote health and wellbeing through physical activity
