The Role of Area Sales Manager
Drive Sales of Ventilation Systems – Promote and sell the company’s range of natural ventilation products, including Hybrid NV solutions, dampers, window and roof systems, and ancillaries.
Generate Specifications & Build Relationships – Work closely with architects, M&E consultants, and contractors to specify products on key projects, particularly within the education sector.
Secure & manage orders – engage with M&E contractors and main contractors to convert specifications into orders, manage the process, and ensure successful delivery.
Meet sales targets – consistently achieve regional sales objectives by winning projects and maximising business opportunities.
Maximise Customer Time & Coverage – spend the majority of time face-to-face with customers, with additional time working from home, as part of a collaborative national sales team.
The Ideal Person for the Area Sales Manager
Sales Focus – promote and sell the company’s range of naturalventilation systems and contract louvres.
Proven Sales Experience – must have experience in an external (field-based) sales role, ideally with some alignment to the construction route to market (consultants, contractors, or similar).

Log and organise incoming customer enquiries in line with agreed processes.
Prepare simple quotes under guidance (e.g. using known labour times, standard parts and finishes).
Collect and update material, subcontract and paint/finish costs from suppliers and internal data.
Populate quote templates accurately for review by the Office Manager.
Update the status of enquiries and quotes in Excel trackers and Redthorn MRP.
Order & Admin Support
Assist with checking customer purchase orders against quotes (price, quantities, lead times).
Help enter and maintain sales orders on Redthorn MRP.
Support the accurate filing and organisation of quotes, orders and related documents.
Update and maintain existing Excel tracking sheets (quotes, orders, deliveries, etc.).
Liaise with the Service Delivery Coordinators and Business Development Manager for basic information requests.
Data & Systems
Keep data in Redthorn MRP accurate and up to date (enquiries, quotes, orders).
Maintain simple reports and lists to support weekly reviews (e.g. open quotes, due dates).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all quality related functions in the plant. Participate in the development of specifications for processing, products, and materials. Perform all required quality tests for raw materials, work in progress, and finished products. Ensure that quality checks are performed at the required frequency and targets, additionally periodically evaluate target levels, and amend as appropriate. Regularly audit product and process to ensure standard work executed on the floor and in the lab. Ensure that any non-conforming product is properly identified for a decision on disposition by Management. Track, report, and reduce manufacturing waste. Work directly with purchasing personnel on vendor quality or supply issues; assist with vendor selection and qualification. Lead ISO Quality systems. Research customer complaints including but not limited to engaging in root cause investigation, suggesting corrective action, implementing actions, and providing follow up while following the SAP quality process and maintaining metrics. Manage all lab functions and staff, while assuring the safety and integrity of those operations and employees. Maintain all testing equipment and ensure that it is in proper working order. Organize and maintain related files, logs, and reports. Develop quality standards/test/inspection plan for raw materials and finished product (specification, sample size and frequency) as well as a robust training process. Develop lean and sustainable saving plans and facilitate small K generation and implementation. Lead all product compliance activities to ensure certification.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality related programs such as lean, ISO, six sigma, etc.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Attain and maintain all related Health and Safety Certifications.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with manufacturing regulations and reporting methods. Knowledge of the production process and team interactions. Analytical acumen for compiling and analyzing data. Ability to plan, organize, follow through and prioritize. Ability to interact with all levels within organization. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. An Opportunity Has Arisen for a Childrens Home Manager / Registered Manager to join a well-established residential care provider offering trauma-informed, family-style homes for children and young people.
As a Childrens Home Manager / Registered Manager, you will be leading the daily running of a children's home, ensuring exceptional care and regulatory compliance while guiding a committed team.
This full-time role offers a salary of up to £70,000 and benefits.
You Will Be Responsible For
* Overseeing the smooth operation of the home and maintaining a consistently supportive atmosphere
* Providing clear, motivational leadership to the care team
* Ensuring adherence to OFSTED requirements and all safeguarding standards
* Building constructive relationships with young people and external professionals
* Reviewing and updating individual care plans to meet evolving needs
* Championing the wellbeing, safety and positive development of every young person
What We Are Looking For
* Previously worked as a Childrens Home Manager, Registered Care Manager, Registered Home Manager, Registered Manager, Home Manager, Care Manager, Homecare manager or in a similar role.
* Proven track record of achieving a "Good" or above Ofsted inspection
* Have at least 2 years of experience in residential childcare
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or progress towards it
* Knowledge of emotional and behavioural difficulties and associated legislation
* Full UK driving licence
