CAD Panel Production Coordinator

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Panel Production Coordinator ensures the seamless integration of design specifications and manufacturing processes, through accurate drawings and measurements, efficient material tracking, and optimal production operations and planning. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor and track the usage of materials throughout the production process and conduct periodic checks to ensure adherence to production schedules and material utilization targets to meet customer order expectations. Utilize CAD software to accurately capture field dimensions and translate them into precise design specifications for panels. Develop detailed and accurate 2D drawings for fabrication tickets, providing clear and comprehensive instructions for the production team. Prepare accurate cut sheets to optimize material cuts, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency in the production process. Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy, timely completion, and adherence to project milestones and deadlines. Convert CAD drawings into Alpha CAM files suitable for CNC machines, ensuring seamless translation of design specifications into the manufacturing processes and instructions. Review and understand shop drawings and engineering calculations to ensure compliance with specifications and design criteria. Collaborate with sales, operations, and others to answer questions, address uncertainties and earn complete customer satisfaction. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineering 0 - 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment. Six Sigma/lean manufacturing experience. Understanding of process control methods, flowmeters, level monitors, and other process controls within a batch manufacturing process. Ability to read and interpret process drawings (process flow diagrams and P&ID's). PLC with ladder logic analysis. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. JOB DESCRIPTION GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB: The WTI Commercial Façade Foreman is responsible for the oversite and performance of safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI Commercial Building Envelope business. Safety is our number one priority and will be embedded into every discussion, meeting, and project. As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the WTI Foreman is focused on safety, crew management, and efficient execution of all WTI Projects assigned to them. Travel will be required. It is the responsibility of the WTI Commercial Foreman to deliver timely and the highest quality service to all our WTI customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Actively administers and enforces Company safety policy and program to minimize accidents affecting employees, the public, and property. This includes responsibility for conducting safety meetings, complying with governmental regulations, reporting and investigating accidents, and planning site-specific job safety procedures, including: Conduct the daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project with all onsite project personnel (Sales Rep, Customer, WTI Supt & Crew, etc.) Inspect and ensure the safety of surroundings, equipment, and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns. Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit it to the Supervisors as applicable. Ensure all project communication is completed prior to the start of any WTI project. This includes but is not limited to communication with: Sales Rep on weekly/daily schedule WTI crew members to discuss the scope of work and daily tasks The customer prior to arrival, upon arrival, and upon completion of daily work WTI Supervisor on safety, schedule changes, project and crew updates, etc. Efficient project management to include managing crew start and end times, production rates, and ensuring tools and materials are available to safely and efficiently complete the assigned project. Complete the project per the scope of work, design, and specification of contract and engineering documents. Complete an end-of-day and/or end-of-project walk-through to ensure quality repairs and address any items prior to leaving the job site. Before and after pictures will be sent to the Sales Rep, and information will be included in daily project status reports. These items will include detailed work performed updates, materials consumed, and supplies purchases, which are all recorded daily. Supervises, directs, and coordinates the scheduling and execution of projects in assigned areas. This responsibility includes job start-up, job execution in accordance with contract specifications, job shutdown, and manpower scheduling, all consistent with the planned costs of the job. Manages field personnel, including, but not limited to, recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and retaining the quality and number of production personnel needed to meet operating demands. This responsibility also includes laying off personnel, disciplinary action, employee assistance, and handling union matters relative to employees. Ensure that all WTI Field Labor will have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer. Responsible for tracking and monitoring project inventory. Maintains the highest quality on-site customer relations in projecting a positive image. Has knowledge/understanding and assures assigned projects comply with all governmental rules and regulations affecting work sites and employees, i.e., OSHA, DOT, EEO/Affirmative Action, EPA, Wage and Hour, etc. Manage, monitor, and document the performance of WTI Commercial Field Labor and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues. Consult with the WTI Commercial Supervisor and Human Resources as needed. Contributes to operations by supplying accurate and timely job information, including daily job logs, job file documentation, and compiling information for billing the customer. Provides management with the earliest possible notification of real and potential job problems. Accepts responsibility for the care, custody, and purchasing of company equipment, materials, tools, and other assets as assigned by the WTI Commercial Supervisor. Trains employees in proper material and equipment usage, maintenance, and storage. Coordinates and monitors the performance of on-site subcontractors, where appropriate. Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Commercial Business Manager. Maintains ethical business conduct EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of progressive experience in a similar role, including leading teams and technical solutions, training, troubleshooting, etc. Must be thoroughly familiar with standard façade construction, including masonry, EIFS, Stucco, Curtainwall, metal panels, concrete, plaster, and other forms of facade systems and how to properly repair them using Tremco CPG Materials.
