The role
As a Production Engineer Intern you will join our busy workshop in Falmouth on an Internship.
You will work closely with a wide range of teams which includes, design, procurement, workshops, subcontract manufacturers and suppliers, working closely with each department to ensure production activities are completed in a timely manner.

You will be tasked with bringing your understanding of the pit falls of rack design / layout along with cabling issues that arrive and use your AV technical acumen to help create with the design team bespoke flawless systems. You will work from the office / site and home projects are mainly based in London and the South East.
5+years of Crestron along with Lutron
Bespoke Custom Install into the high end residential market
An understand of AV Systems design (CAD)
Strong technical AV understanding
Able to think outside the box and bring new ideas to the table
Good understanding of cable and connectors
IT networking knowledge (Cisco, Draytek)

JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for contributing to and validating proposals and specifications. o Conceptual Phase (specification development, establishment of milestone dates) o Program Planning Phase o Design Phase o Conduct Pre-Proposal Meetings o Proposal Phase Construction Phase o Conduct Pre Construction o Effective Close-out o Cost Estimates and schedules o Use of ebuilder for all project documentation per policy manual. Assist the Construction Manager in tracking project costs, budget variances, and profitability. Accountable for Quality Assurance. Ensure subcontractor has submitted the required documents. Establish timelines and goals. Manage key metrics and report on as required. When needed, coordinate with Program Managers, Project Administrators, Project Estimators, Specification Writers, Sales Representatives, and RBM. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Specification Development Stage:
Works with Construction Manager and Sales Representative to establish a scope of work for the project. Completion of specification request and related documents. Responsible for specification review as required by the Construction Manager.
Pre-Proposal Stage:
Conducts Pre-Proposal Meeting and distribute completed Pre-Proposal meeting documentation to all applicable parties. Assist Construction Manager in reviewing of proposals. Prepare Proposal Documents as directed by Construction Manager.
Pre-Construction Stage:
Publish Project Schedule. Assists Construction Manager in planning and coordinating the Pre-Construction Meeting. Engages with Project Superintendent to provide necessary project information. Conducts Pre-Construction Meeting and and distribute completed Pre-Construction Meeting documentation to all applicable parties. Obtain Building Permit when required.
Construction Stage:
Review Daily Inspection Forms and ensures they are distributed to all applicable parties and uploaded into project files. Visits job site as necessary or directed by Construction Manager. Conduct weekly Progress Meetings, virtual or onsite, and distribute meeting minutes to all applicable parties. Maintain Project Schedule and update on a weekly basis. Perform site audits as appropriate. Review subcontractor payment requests with Construction Manager. Assemble AIA billing applications for Construction Manager's review and approval. Assist Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, Subcontractor, Owner, or Sales Representative as needed.
Close Out Stage:
Assist Construction Manager in coordinating final inspection. Ensure all required documents are uploaded into the project files.
