As the Content Writer / Copywriter, you’ll be responsible for producing compelling copy and content for national and global marketing campaigns, video scripts, CTA’s, blogs, Consumer App Content, Advice Content, all to an SEO Standard. HOWEVER, more important than anything, you must be super creative and be able to write eye-catching Headlines and Strap Lines to engage readers.
This is the perfect opportunity for a content writer who can conduct detailed research to write engaging long form content and think creatively to write content for short creative copy such as email, straplines, headlines and more!
THE CREATIVE CONTENT WRITER / COPYWRITER ROLE:
You'll be creating eye catching content including fun headlines and straplines to engage readers
Creates optimised content in brand tone of voice for our app and website that engages, drives traffic, and builds trust in the brand
Writes creative, eye-catching copy for landing pages, adverts, video scripts, email, social media and all forms of printed collateral
Works with brand and campaign manager to produce copy for global marketing campaigns that focus on audience intent and convince and convert target audiences
Proofreads and sub-edits all content prior to publication, ensuring it is on-brand, on-message and free of typos and grammatical errors
Performs keyword research regularly to strategically rank our content higher in SERPS
Optimises and updates existing and historic content regularly to maximise organic visibility in SERPS
Analyses on-page SEO to diagnose potential problems with optimised content
THE PERSON:
Highly creative and able to write fun eye catching headlines and strap lines
Must have experience in a consumer-facing copywriting / Copy writer / content writing / Content Writer role
Strong knowledge of SEO and first-class research skills
Experience in writing both long-form content and short creative copy such as strap lines, slogans and CTAs. Must be highly creative
Impeccable eye for detail, frequently spotting mistakes others may miss
Experience with SEO tools and content management systems
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
Prepared to travel very occasionally to meet other team members

The role
You’ll be working closely with the UK Product Management team to create, maintain, and optimise catalogue content, providing clear deadlines and product updates, and work on developing and optimising catalogue production processes alongside other teams.
You will also:
Align, discuss and create agreements with the UK Digital Merchandisers on all product related topics
Provide ad hoc support on Digital Merchandiser tasks and topics
Ensure that all products are well structured and easy to purchase for customers across catalogues
Write catalogue copy & descriptions that are sales driven, and provide clear guidance & information to our customers
Work closely with the Design team to create new catalogues and other promotional material
Coordinate with the Marcoms and eCommerce teams for promotional activity and in the creation of enriched content
Utilise data quality reports to ensure the most accurate product information in the catalogues, and maintain an up-to-date product offering
Manage the data of products using the PIM tool ‘STEP’ and liaise with other users across Europe to ensure correct data consistency and quality
The person
This role would suit a copywriter with strong skills copywriting, editing, and proofing for offline media, who has initiative, enthusiasm, and a willingness to always be learning. Candidates who have had some experience working on a catalogue previously is essential.
