All general yard duties:
Mucking out / keeping the yard tidy
Filling haynets / water buckets
Turning horses in and out
Grooming/ preparing for shows
Riding and competing for a suitably experienced candidate
Travelling and grooming at competitions
Possibility of doing teaching qualifications
Training:
All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours
Your day-to-day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in-person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach
Training Outcome:
Possibility of progression to the Level 3 Senior Groom or Assistant Manager position if a more advanced candidate

There are 19 horses based on site with 3 members of staff everyday to allow for quality time spent on each individual horse.
The duties will include:
Grooming
Attending shows
Mucking Out
Clipping
Lunging
Riding available-Dependant on experience
The apprenticeship is practical based so not lots of time spent in the classroom. If you did not achieve your GCSE'S you can do these whilst on programme.
Working hours are done on a rota basis 7am-5pm, you will be expected to work a weekend due to the nature of the business. Show days may vary.
Good rates of pay, bonuses based on performance and regular staff evenings out.

The apprenticeship will offer the right candidate lots of riding opportunities, if wanted as there is always a selection of young horses and schooling liveries in.
Opportunities to travel and groom at shows and support the small friendly team.
The apprenticeship is a work-based opportunity on site so no sitting in a classroom for hours.
The yard consists of 17 horses and lovely facilities.
