The Fibre As-built & QS Engineer will take ownership of updating and maintaining fibre solutions for customer connectivity services, liaising with various departments and 3rd party suppliers to manage the delivery of the as-built designs.
The role will update, validate and maintain fibre solutions within inventory systems to support secure customer connectivity, ensuring accurate as-built capture, validation and governance of fibre network data in line with internal standards and SLA-driven KPIs.
Responsibilities:
Working within the Fibre planning and build department the Fibre As-built & QS Engineer will be involved with:
• Interact with Design & Build teams to capture HLD, LLD and as-built data for secure customer orders
• Validate as-built packs submitted by the supply chain to ensure compliance with internal standards and process requirements
• Utilise & research existing databases, files, and records for purposes of network design, fibre optimisation, and relocation of fibre facilities
• Update and maintain fibre inventory in Smallworld PNI in line with approved as-built documentation
• Ensure all internal documentation systems and databases are updated in accordance with as-built governance processes
• Validate requested and allocated fibres within internal tie cables for secure customer provisioning
• Process and validate measure applications, cross-checking against as-built submissions
• Process requests for network, site and new build surveys, completing and issuing supporting documentation and liaising with survey contractors
• Provide design schematics of fibre path to be performed for fibre projects, relocation of existing fibre facilities, and restoration of existing traffic
• Raise structured queries with supply chain partners where as-built packs or measure submissions lack required data
• Issue pay certificates in line with SLA timelines and coordinate with Delivery Managers and Project Managers

We work directly with businesses to help them shape their approach to sustainability and how to communicate it to their staff and customers and we also work directly with the authorities in destinations that receive tourists. In the past few years we have worked to develop tourism strategy for The Federated States of Micronesia. The Bahamas, Jamaica and the island of Jersey. We also work with a brand strategy company (Llama) to help destinations integrate sustainability into the way they promote themselves. Green Case has been operating since 2012. We have two core team members, Rachel McCaffery who is the CEO and is based in Brighton, UK and Kennedy Pemberton, Director of Operations who is based in the Caribbean. We are experts in sustainable tourism but we don’t have a lot of time to communicate what we do so are excited to take on someone who can help us promote our work and open the door to new customers.
The role is to help grow awareness of Green Case by promoting its international expertise in sustainable tourism. It will involve a range of activities focused around marketing and content creation (primarily for Linkedin promotion, with the possibility to explore the effectiveness of other channels and platforms), website development, creating a database of contents and establishing the best method for engaging with them, researching business opportunities, supporting proposal development and tender applications and helping with general admin, some of which may be linked to our work making businesses and destinations more sustainable.Working Hours :Monday to Friday 10.00 – 17:00

Manage Coptrz’s presence on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
Schedule and publish posts that align with brand tone and campaign objectives

Content Marketing:
Plan, shoot and edit engaging video and image content specifically designed for social media platforms

Use Microsoft Clarity to watch how users behave on-site
Suggest improvements to product pages and landing pages

Analytics and Data Measurement:
Track performance using GA4, Klaviyo and Shopify Analytics
Help produce reports that show results from social media and campaigns
Affiliate and Influencer Marketing:
Assist with finding and reaching out to influencers
Support with managing partnerships and tracking their performance
Marketing Automation and AI:
Explore tools that use AI to help with content, email and reporting
Learn how automation can save time and increase campaign performance
E-commerce and UX Optimisation:
Build new product listings in Shopify, including images, video and descriptions
Keep on-site media up to date (banners, hero images, promo graphics)
Make suggestions for improving customer journey and online shopping experience
Essential Skills and Experience:
Experience creating and posting video and image content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram or YouTube
Passion for digital marketing, creativity and storytelling
Interest in learning how content fits into wider digital strategies
Willingness to complete a structured apprenticeship programme and apply new skills on the job
Good communication, organisation and attention to detail
Desirable:

Training:You will undertake the Multi-channel Marketing Level 3 Apprenticeship, which includes:

Functional Skills in maths and English if required
You will receive full training and support from the Just IT apprenticeship team to increase your skills
Delivery method and location of delivery to be confirmed
Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 3 qualification
