Our client is a fast-growing, BRC-accredited food manufacturer looking to recruit an experienced Production Supervisor to join their expanding team in Tiverton.This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious production professional with experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and seasonal production schedules.Lead and support production teams to achieve operational targets and KPIs.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and warehouse operations.Ensure food safety, quality, and compliance remain the highest priority.Maintain audit readiness and ensure compliance with BRC and company standards.Promote effective cross-departmental communication and teamwork.Coach, train, and develop production staff to maximise performance.Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous supervisory or management experience within a food, drink, or FMCG manufacturing environment.A good understanding of BRC standards and working within an audited manufacturing environment.Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting.A hands-on management style with a passion for coaching and developing teams.Excellent communication and people management skills.Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices.Experience of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
