Reporting to the Sales and Purchase Ledger Manager, the Purchase Ledger Assistant role plays an important part in ensuring financial information for the organization is accurate, timely and robust.
The Post The main duties will include, but not limited to:Maintenance and management of the ledgers on the accounting system:
Purchase ledger• Process all purchase invoices for EPC and managed contracts, within the existing procedures, including coding, posting to the accounting system, obtaining authorization, preparing invoices for payment, creating BACS files, sending out remittances.• Management of the ledger, including allocation of payments, supplier statement reconciliations, supplier queries.• Processing credit card statements, reconciling receipts, checking adhesion to travel and expense policy.• Processing employee expenses, reconciling receipts, checking adhesion to travel and expense policy.• Dealing with internal queries from colleagues on invoices and payments• Filing all purchase ledger paperwork, physically and electronically. Bank and Cash
• Posting bank payments and bank receipts on the account software.• Processing petty cash receipts and payments for Head Office and other locations.• Preparation of purchase ledger BACS payments for approval.• Filing bank statements and other paperwork.• Reconciling all bank accounts and petty cash accounts
Other Responsibilities
• Ad hoc tasks as required by the Finance Director or Head of Finance.• Continuous review and improvement of internal process in consultation with colleagues, to improve the services we provide to tenants.• Attending company-wide events such as the annual Staff Conference, Christmas party, training and any other commitments.
Person Specification This is a busy, demanding and responsible role that requires an individual with both customer service and practical skills and a positive attitude.
The person we are looking for will need:
• AAT qualified/part qualified or qualified by experience. Responsibilities:
Management of QEHS across the company and all sites. • Improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant.
Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are finished on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
Manage budgets and forecasts
Monitor and oversee the labour requirements, recruitment, training, and supervision of staff
Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication of expectations and deliverables
Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, billing, and the procurement of materials and labour
Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, including clients, construction teams, and external consultants, to ensure a cohesive and collaborative work environment
Develop and implement innovative construction techniques and strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
Sign off on weekly reports from Site Staff.
Reviewing project cashflows/histogram/P&Ls prepared by CMs/PMs/Site Engineers.
Liaising with design team.
Submitting weekly status reports to Managing Director
Procure new business in line with agreed budgets.
Liaising with existing and new clients.
Finalise rates, value engineering options, prelims etc. on all tenders with Estimating Manager.
Produce support documentation for tenders and prequalification submissions.
Attend client tender review meetings, resolve issues and close out deal.
Review and negotiate client contract terms.
• Requirements:
• 5+ years’ experience in similar management role in construction industry
• Qualification or Equivalent in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline
• Excellent industry knowledge
• Proven track record of overseeing delivery of large-scale construction projects within budget, specification, and timescale
• Excellent knowledge of EHS requirements within Irish construction sites
• Excellent IT skills and knowledge with quality and safety management systems (ISO)
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• HVAC or mechanical experience an advantage

The Role
We are looking for Retail Merchandising Team Driver’s (driver with own vehicle) to add to our already successful merchandising team.
This role will require you to carry out the merchandising role as well as oversee the transportation of a small team of merchandisers to and from each shift.
A typical week consists of 4-5 shifts Sunday to Thursday
Shift lengths are generally 12 hours, days and nights (predominately nights). Access to available assignments will be on your smartphone via our Field Power platform where you can set your availability and accept shifts.
You will be required to clock in and out using your smart phone via our RAS Dashboard.
Work will be carried out on different retail customer sites / stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis.
Escalating any issues with the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner
You will work as part of a team led by a Team Manager or Store Management
You will be required to carry out the following:
Removing and replacing stock with the use of client plans and systems
Adjusting shelf heights
Moving stock from the warehouse onto the shop floor, with use of roll cages and pallet trucks.
Stock replenishment.
Key Skills/ Experience Required
This role will involve working unsociable hours including night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 21 years.
This role requires you to have a Full Driving License.
You must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to work long shifts where required.
Previous experience in retail desirable, although training will be provided.

The Safeguarding and Care Planning Service works in partnership with other agencies such as Police, Health and Education, and aims to ensure children grow up with the best life chances and receive safe and consistent care.

The Court Team is a specialist team within the Safeguarding Service. The focus of the work is with children at significant risk of harm where intervention of the court is necessary to protect them. Many of these children become looked after by the Local Authority in the interim and subsequently may not be able to return to their parents. They may be permanently cared for elsewhere by living with either extended family, long term foster care or adoption under a Court Order.
The Court Team consists of a Team Manager and 6 Senior Practitioners.
This team works in partnership with the Bromley Children’s Legal Team to ensure that children’s cases that are presented to court are well prepared and timely.
The position requires recent court experience and the ideal candidate would be keen to join a team that specialises in court work within a safeguarding team.
The successful candidate must:
Be very well organised, have the ability to communicate effectively and articulate evidence in care proceedings.
Write reports to a high standard, that are concise, evidence based for court and adoption panel (i.e Child Permanency and Adoption Placement Reports)
Meet court timelines for submission of statements, care plans, and to effectively parallel plan for children considering all relevant options to secure permanent care at the earliest opportunity for the child.
Undertake assessments (i.e parenting and together and apart assessments), plan appropriate intervention and work creatively with children and families who are in court proceedings
Have a good understanding of safeguarding thresholds and ability to assess and analysis risks, including good knowledge of child development and attachment theories and permanency needs of children of all ages
