This is followed by the End-Point Assessment, which assesses the apprentice’s overall competence and readiness to work independently as an Autocare Technician. This will include assessments of the apprentice’s knowledge, skills and behaviours through a combination of practical and knowledge-based assessments
Each apprentice will achieve the following:
Autocare Technician Apprenticeship Standard – Level 2
Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English, where requiredRelevant manufacturer and/or industry-recognised
training and certificates
Workplace experience and competence across a range of autocare servicing, maintenance and repair activities
Training Outcome:
Further opportunities to develop career to become a fully qualified master technician and MOT tester
