6 - 12 months of product specific site based training on all aspects of transformer design and manufacture. This will include all areas of the business from the tender stage through to the final test
Maintenance, repair, installation and retrofit of the company's range of Tapchanger and Transformer products, both on site and in our Loughborough factory. The initial 12 months will be factory-based
Disassemble, overhaul, fault find, repair, rebuild Tapchanger’s, transformers both on-site and in-work as required
Work to specifications and technical requirements
Undergo training as necessary to ensure that current and future H&S requirements are met at all times
Work in accordance with on-site risk assessments on every assignment
Provide written reports on completion of each assignment
Following initial rotation across different departments within BRUSH Transformers, Apprentices will spend time in the Transformer Service Department with qualified and experienced Service Engineers, learning all aspects of maintenance, servicing, repairs, installation and commissioning of BRUSH Transformers.
