GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Leverages industry and product knowledge to drive key accounts from the top down while influencing indirect field resources in the same accounts from the bottom up. Provides dedicated key account management, encourages, supports and develops field sales resources, strengthens internal and external relationships, increases revenues, drives market awareness, and improves customer dependence. Develops high, wide and deep relationships with the largest and most complex customers and key stakeholders to increase revenue, drive brand loyalty and ensure customer satisfaction. Pursues relationships with potential new key accounts and seeks business expansion opportunities with current customers. Enters sales-related information and data in salesforce.com daily, reviews and analyzes account details to enhance customer relationships and drive revenue growth, measures results and outcomes in account records. Supports national/key accounts and other strategic customers, gathers, and collects voice of customer feedback, and acts as a conduit with internal departments for research or action on issues raised. Provides direction and guidance for key accounts, meet or exceeds annual sales targets or quotas and suggest product improvements or expanding sales channels. Provides subject matter expertise for strategic initiatives (Panelization/Off-Site Construction/Nudura/Wall Systems or other area of expertise) to uncover business opportunities; build partnerships, relationships, connections; assist in developing relevant systems and processes, etc. in support of meeting established revenue targets. Leverages detailed knowledge of products and services offered to ensure that products and services consistently meet customer needs. Visits customer locations and work sites periodically to ensure customer satisfaction, promote ongoing business and expand reach within commercial and residential build projects. Collaborates with sales leadership to identify key opportunities for revenue growth and product targets within assigned region for inclusion in annual sales compensation planning. Analyzes customer's technical specifications, recommends the best product configuration and installation process, and estimates implementation effort, time, and resources. Uses technical knowledge of product offerings to advise and support sales teams with pricing estimates, sales quotations, requests for proposals and implementation guidance based on customer requirements. Reviews sales proposals for accuracy, completeness, and quality. Develops and delivers technical product presentations and materials used to engage customers and prospects and educate sales teams. Collaborates with sales teams to troubleshoot problems, develop solutions, and deliver customer training. Works with the Learning department to implement sales training and onboarding programs to prepare salespeople to discuss products and engage with potential customers or opportunities. Designs and delivers training sessions on company products, business practices, industry context, competitive information, and other topics as needed. Coaches field sales representatives on product categories technical value, proper execution of strategies, value proposition and general best practices. Evaluates and provides timely feedback to field sales representatives for growth, professional development, and opportunities for betterment When requested, participates in progress evaluations for field sales representatives tasked with driving the specialized scope
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, building construction, sales/marketing, or other related field preferred; or experience in lieu of degree. Minimum High School Diploma or GED with 7 years of construction industry experience
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 7 years of technical sales, field support, sales training, business development, and customer/account management experience is required; or a minimum of 10 years of specialty industry-related experience in lieu of a degree Experience in the construction industry such as an architect, engineer, construction manager, or installation is preferred. Understanding ICF, masonry, or rebar is a plus. Understanding how a building is constructed is highly preferred. Master-level trade experience preferred

Proven account management and customer service skills. Deep product knowledge and the ability to share that knowledge with others in a learning capacity. Ability to influence and gain support from indirect field sales reports to drive key account alignment with sales execution at the local level.

BENEFITS & COMPENSATION:
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $99,000 and $128,700 plus incentive compensation. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Technical Application Specialist ensures proper application of Commercial Sealant & Waterproofing products in accordance with company and industry guidelines by providing both on-site and office-based problem resolution assistance. This individual is a technical liaison between the business and Tremco's field-based internal and external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide or obtain accurate and timely product application, qualification, and/or troubleshooting services to internal colleagues and external business partners Assist with general on-site product application, training, and general substrate review. Assist with the generation and maintenance of technical documentation and collateral with various internal departments. Examples include application instructions, technical data sheets, technical marketing collateral, product training programs, 3rd party testing/validation reports, and other product assets. Assist in the collection of laboratory data forproject and/or product-specific testing. Assist with and/or perform in-field and in-house analytical lab testing to confirm the chemical compatibility and physical adhesion properties of Tremco products on specified jobs, for evaluating new areas of application, new product development, and competitive product analysis. Conduct jobsite observations/evaluations with customers and field sales reps to make accurate and timely product and installation recommendations. Compose official letters and/or corporate communiques, including installation instructions, job qualification parameters, and competitive product comparisons along with assisting in the development of detail drawings to help secure sales opportunities. Provide or obtain accurate and timely answers to inquiries on product usage, comparative competitive products, web-site navigation, product specifications, repair techniques, assessment and/or remedial course of action recommendations for jobsite problems, environmental regulations, construction sequencing, and technical product property questions. Ensure product performance through proper recommendation of jobsite qualification and application techniques. Possess and leverage a basic knowledge of Tremco's product portfolio. Learn assigned core product line technology while assisting higher level Application Specialists with occasional direction. Provide clear written and verbal technical support and product recommendations to internal and external stakeholders including sales representatives, technical representatives, owners, architects, engineers, contractors, installers, etc.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree inScience, Civil Engineering,Construction Management or similarfield; High School Diploma or GED and 4-7 years related experience required, in lieu of college degree.
EXPERIENCE:
1+ years of Technical Service, Technical Sales, or Construction Industry experience required with a Bachelor's degree in Science, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a similar field; or 4-7 years of Technical Service, Technical Sales, or Construction Industry experience with a high school diploma or GED. Experience installing any type of exterior finish products such as metal panels, and framing is required.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience, in Word, Excel, etc. Autocad is nice to have Ability to manage multiple, shifting priorities. Effective team player. Self-motivated and driven. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. Must be passport-eligible. Hands-on and conceptual mechanical aptitude. Valid have a valid driver's license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance is currently searching for a Field Support Specialist.
The Field Support Specialist works closely with the Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to support and increase the sales activity in the Sales Representative's region. Maintains accounts through prospecting, closing, and providing solid market presence including serving customers.
Developing Business
Preparing and/or distributing marketing materials Inspection and evaluation of the property Preparing roof drawings and sketches Preparing scope of work documents Preparing proposals Attending sales calls Pricing patch and repair jobs Providing technical expertise Attending meetings with the architect, contractor and/or owner
Managing Accounts
Identifying, analyzing, resolving problems Preparing reports to owners regarding the condition of roofs. Project site visits to monitor installation of Tremco roofing products Identification of any aspect of installation that does not comply with specifications Review and resolve concerns of architects, contractors and owners regarding Tremco's installation instructions Coordinating visits with contractors Preparing reports on progress and problems for the Sales Representative. QA/ QA+ inspections Tremcare Gold Service (periodic visual inspection with minor repairs being addressed where detected on Tremco warranted roofs only). Identifying and troubleshooting problems arising during installation and the lifecycle of the roof May occasionally perform patch and repair work for small leaks that can be performed quickly after identifying the leak and other infrequent, limited physical labor. May also perform minor maintenance (caulking, flashing touch up, applying small amounts of mastic, removing debris, etc.) to prevent potential leaks.
Other Work
This work may include but is not limited to: Conducting diagnostic infra-red scans of roofs Taking photographs Preparing CADD drawings Delivering or picking up samples, documents or small products from/to architects, owners and contractors.
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or combination of education and experience. Must have a minimum of two to three years of related hands-on experience and/or training in a similar role. Prior sales and/or customer related experience in roofing industry required.
Qualifications:
Thorough understanding and application of roofing and waterproofing contracting standards. Experience with MS Word, Excel and familiarity with CADD Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and technical information, e.g. professional journals and periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to draft reports, business correspondence and similar documents. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, contractors, and architects.
