As a Support Engineer Apprentice you would be looking at everything that is involved in this, from identifying what maintenance could be required, to the tools and spares needed to carry out the maintenance and understanding the reliability and availability of the equipment on-board.
The role of Support Engineer Apprentice within BAE Systems involves the application of engineering and logistic principles to develop solutions to support the Astute, Dreadnought and SSNA Class of Submarines and their operations. As a Support Engineer Apprentice, the role will involve developing & applying your understanding of a range of Supportability Engineering Integrated Product Support (IPS) processes, tools, systems and techniques.
