We are seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team developing advanced electronic systems used in high-performance, security-focused environments.
This role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging programmes where FPGAs play a central role, supporting applications such as high-speed data processing, complex algorithm implementation, embedded security functions, system-level integration within modern hardware platforms.
You will work alongside engineers across firmware, software, systems, and hardware disciplines, contributing to innovative solutions in a structured, quality-driven development environment.
The team operates using modern development practices, including advanced toolchains and Continuous Integration workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop FPGA solutions using VHDL
- Deliver efficient implementations with strong focus on timing closure and device optimisation
- Target AMD FPGA and SoC devices, including use of the AXI protocol
- Perform simulation using Siemens QuestaSim
- Apply modern verification approaches (e.g. OSVVM, CoCoTB)
- Use AMD toolchains (ISE and Vivado)
- Develop and maintain scripted build processes using TCL and/or Python
- Work within Git-based version control systems
- Support Continuous Integration environments (e.g. GitLab, Docker)
- Produce clear technical documentation
- Contribute to process improvement and engineering best practice

You will ensure that new products are designed and developed within the agreed timescales and to the standards expected.
ROLE DUTIES
Work closely with the Technical Engineering Manager and the Design and Development department you will take products from conception to detailed engineering drawings for manufacture.
You will determine manufacturing methods for engineering designs accounting for both inhouse and external manufacture capabilities.
You will carry out DFMEA at the outset of each project, monitoring the completion of actions identified and working with the development team to identify product design failure modes.
You will ensure that tolerance analysis is carried out during the design process, allowing for ease of manufacture, product function and eliminating tolerance build up issues during product manufacture and assembly.
You will be working with all departments involved in the NPD program, in particular, Development, Production Engineering & Purchasing, ensuring design for manufacture is implemented prior to product handover.
You will work with the Production Engineering department to optimise designs to reduce costs, increase efficiency and maintain product quality.
You will ensure Bill of Materials spreadsheets are generated during the design process enabling Production Engineering to generate product manufacturing costs.
You will ensure new product progress feedback sheets are filled out and kept up to date.
To be considered for the role you require experience in a mixture of the following: -
You will be either degree educated or have a proven engineering background with a strong bias toward mechanical engineering.
You will be able to demonstrate ability in product development from initial prototype to mass production.
Experience of sheet metal manufacture experience and knowledge of sheet metal processes is required.
Experience of generating Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis reports (DFMEA Reports) and implementing the actions identified is required.
Experience of tolerance build up analysis and resolving areas of concern.

They are undertaking a major modernization initiative to enhance and expand their Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem, integrating key business processes across patient management, finance, and operations.
They are now seeking a Dynamics Developer to play a key role in designing, building, and supporting custom Dynamics 365 applications and integrations across the enterprise. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions that drive efficiency and improve outcomes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and customize solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM and GP).
Build and maintain Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI reports.
Develop custom plugins, workflows, and integrations using C# and .NET.
Integrate Dynamics with internal and external systems via REST APIs and Azure-based services.
Maintain and optimize SQL Server databases supporting Dynamics environments.
Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Support ongoing system maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of the Dynamics ecosystem.
Key Skills & Experience:
Proven experience developing within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM or GP).
Strong knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Proficiency in C#, .NET, and SQL Server for backend customization and integration.
Experience developing plugins, workflows, and custom connectors.
Understanding of Azure services such as Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to liaise across technical and business teams.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and full software development lifecycle best practices.

Get training on the installation and configuration of security applications on PC-based systems
Learn how to set up, configure, and test security outstations and devices
Perform software and system modifications as required
Provide hands-on and remote support to project and system engineers
Liaise effectively with suppliers and clients for seamless project execution
Conduct on-site commissioning and support activities in alignment with project and service demands

Training:
While on this apprenticeship, you will work towards a Level 3 Tech Support Engineering Technician apprenticeship based in England
