What does the training involve?

A bit of flexibility when it comes to your shifts. When other members of your team are off enjoying their holidays, we may need you to work slightly different hours to cover for them. Rotas are planned three weeks in advance and your commitments outside of work will be taken into consideration when planning your shifts.

To become an apprentice, you must,
Be 16 or over.
Not already be in full-time education.
As an apprentice you’ll:
Complete a L3 Retail Team Leader apprenticeship standard.
Have regular one to one sessions with a dedicated trainer either remotely or through visits to your workplace.
Learn and train for a specific job.
Get paid and receive holiday leave.
Get hands-on experience in a real job.
Study for at least 20% of your working hours
Complete assessments during and at the end of your apprenticeship.
Be on a career path with lots of future potential.
Be entitled to a TOTUM membership.
What is an apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is a real job where you learn, gain experience and get paid. You’re an employee with a contract of employment and holiday leave. By the end of an apprenticeship, you'll have the right skills and knowledge needed for your chosen career.
Levels of an apprenticeship;
Each apprenticeship has a level and an equivalent education level. You can start an apprenticeship at any level.
At the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll achieve the equivalent education level. For example, if you complete a level 3 apprenticeship, you’ll achieve the equivalent of an A level.
Training:Level 3 Retail Team Leader Apprenticeship Standard:
Apprenticeship standards are aimed at developing skills within the Apprentice’s chosen career route, each standard has set knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful within the job role.
This will include the completion of Functional Skills, in maths and English. Once the apprentice has completed a minimum of 12 months of training and the employer and Inspiro's Regional Trainer confirm they have met all the requirements of the standard they will be put through to end point assessment.
The end point assessment is independent of the training and includes a variety of assessment methods that test the skills and knowledge of the apprentice to ensure they are fully competent in their role.
Each Apprentice will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e-learning, face to face training and workplace mentoring; this will encourage and help them to meet the requirements of the new standards and will prepare them for the end of point assessment.
Training Outcome:
Progression from this apprenticeship could be into a junior retail management position.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment in an ever expanding team.
Your duties will include the following:
Meeting and greeting all customers who walk into the shop
Front of house/reception service
You will be checking the online email enquiries and dealing with those accordingly
Conduct viewings
Booking viewings via in house system
Process applications and reference
Create and maintain property files - so you will get to understand the file and what goes inside it
Liaising with 3rd parties such as landlords and solicitors
Diary management
General office duties such as filing, photocopying and post
Training:
Housing & Property Manager level 3 apprenticeship standard
20% off-the-job training
Functional skills if required
All trainign to be delivered remotely
Training Outcome:
There is a potential full-time position for the right candidate upon successful completion of apprenticeship.

The Warehouse Apprentice will provide administrative and supply support to the Commercial and retail functions of Historic Royal Palaces, ensuring our members and visitors are served in a timely and correct fashion.
To learn all areas of how a Warehouse operates in a busy environment- including using computer systems and receiving in and processing retail goods.
Whilst studying towards your apprenticeship you will also be:
Unload and accept deliveries from external suppliers, advising the Warehouse Deputy Team Leader and or Mentor of any discrepancies
To understand and comply with Health safety and compliance
Check delivery quantities with packing notes and buyers’ orders
Book stock into our retail WMS system
Locate the items received in the storage area
Be involvement and understanding of basic stock management
Picking Retail shop deliveries via handheld terminal and paper picks
Supporting and gaining an understanding in the planning when loading our Retail delivery vehicles
Working alongside our Ecommerce team to fulfil our online customer orders
Gain an understanding in our stocktaking processes
Housekeeping qualities
To understand the charity and site sustainability goals.
Understand our part to play in the Central Warehouse Audit responsibilities
Use basic Microsoft Outlook, Word
Full exposure to our Three Pillars, Reach Further, Mean More Act for the Future
Carry out willingly any other instructions given by the Warehouse Deputy Team Leader and or Manager
