All works are carried out under a strict permit to work system and given the nature of the contract the client is particularly risk averse.
Our largest individual site now has over 1000 A/C units, 166 AHU’s and 20 chillers. The majority of the AHU’s are all HTM03 and much of the equipment is life critical, serving operating theatres, laboratories, drugs stores as well as numerous health care departments. Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Deliver excellent customer service in line with Banks Homes processes and policies.
Assist the Sales Executives to follow up all customer enquiries (website, telephone, email or walk-in), supporting with conversation to site visit or appointment.
Effectively and efficiently capture customer details and record accurately within the company systems.
Support Sales Executives to ensure timely follow-up of all enquiries.
Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Build an awareness of the local housing market and economic conditions.
Demonstrate comprehensive local knowledge, including amenities, schools, transport links and competitors.
Travel to all designated developments to undertake pre-booked customer appointments.
Build a detailed knowledge of all relevant Banks Homes house types for the development.
Undertake training conducted by the Sales Manager and Sales Executive to utilise our sales methodology, schemes and incentives. Following the training, you will then be able to effectively close a sale.
Proactively sell personalised homes through customer extras, and manage implementation across all reservations to drive additional profit for the company.
Meet the agreed sales targets, including reservations, exchanges, and completions, within the required timeframes in agreement with the Sales Manager.
Ensure the health and safety of customers, colleagues, and all site visitors in line with legal requirements and company policies.
Maintain consistent use of appropriate personal protective equipment, including a personal alarm, at all times while at work.
Training:In this role, you will gain hands-on experience whilst working towards a Level 4 Sales Executive apprenticeship. Throughout the apprenticeship programme you will engage in on-the-job training, coursework and assessments that will support your development. To be successful, you should fully engage with all elements of the apprenticeship and represent the organisation positively both in the workplace and at college.
You will report to and work closely with the Sales Manager. In addition you will work closely with Sales Executives, Sales and Marketing Director and liaise proactively with the other internal departments, i.e., commercial, construction, communication, technical and marketing teams, as well as external stakeholders and partners to ensure that sales targets are achieved and exceeded.
You will work under the guidance of your course tutor to support your development and progress in conjunction with your line manager and our Group Learning & Development Manager. Regular communication with the course tutor will be essential to ensure alignment between on-the-job training and academic requirements. You will be expected to attend scheduled reviews and provide updates on your learning, performance, and coursework. You will spend the majority of your time on housebuilding sites you are assigned to and you will be required to work weekends. There may be a requirement for you to occasionally attend meetings at our Head Office, Durham and our office at Harewood House, Leeds. A broad range of accounting and finance tasks will be undertaken, providing experience across our activities. Tasks at some point would include:
Processing purchase Ledger invoices
Supplier payments
Reconciling supplier statements
Maintaining supplier records
Sales ledger invoicing
Credit control
Maintaining customer records
Processing company credit card statements
Processing staff expenses
Month-end journals
General admin, including a lot of ad-hoc duties, assisting colleagues in the Finance Department
Both practical and theoretical training will be undertaken, with an aim to ultimately become a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).

Equal to Level 3 (A level).Training:You will undertake the “Assistant Accountant” Apprenticeship (an Advanced Apprenticeship in Accounting), with full support from Accountancy Learning as part of their Flexible Apprenticeship Programme.
Assessment will be by an “End Point Assessment” and will be graded “Pass” or “Distinction”. This will include two elements:
A Professional Discussion. This will include a series of questions allowing you to to display the knowledge and experience you have obtained over your apprenticeship. You will build a Portfolio of reflections and product evidence that will be used for discussion points in the PD.
A Synoptic Exam. This will include elements you have learnt throughout your studies of the individual AAT Units and this will contribute towards your end grade.
You will be prepared for both of these elements by undertaking studies for the AAT (Level 3) Advanced Diploma in Accounting. This will underpin both elements of your “end point assessment”. It is anticipated that your apprenticeship duration will be for 15-18 months. Those with no prior accounting knowledge might be required to first complete their Level 2 Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship.
You will receive support from both the employer, and the training provider, to complete and achieve your Apprenticeship and will be given time to study during the week on a day release basis. As you are working towards a professional qualification, it is also expected that you will continue your studies outside of normal office hours.
As you learn more in both the office and in your studies your responsibilities, and the variety of tasks you undertake, are expected to increase.

What will you do this year?In your role as Director, Production, your primary accountabilities will be to:Production Leadership & Oversight
Lead all technical production operations across PNE venues, including concerts, festivals, trade shows, sports, and special events.Supervise, schedule, and coordinate IATSE crews for load-ins, show calls, and load-outs. And non-unionDevelop and enforce venue production policies, procedures, and safety protocols in compliance with WorkSafeBC standards.
Technical Systems Management
Oversee Maintenance, repair, and upgrade of all venue technical systems, including rigging, lighting, audio, video, digital screens, and power distribution infrastructure.Coordinate regular testing, documentation, and preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliability and compliance.Oversee in-house AV systems supporting small boardrooms, press conferences, and meeting spaces, including setup, troubleshooting, and vendor support.
Event Advancement & Execution
Serve as the primary technical production liaison for promoters, tour managers, resident tenants, and event producers.Advance all technical details, ensuring each event’s requirements are met efficiently and within venue capabilities.Develop comprehensive production schedules, crew calls, and technical documentation for all events.Provide on-site leadership during high-profile events, ensuring smooth coordination across departments.Maintain strong working relationships with preferred production vendors and suppliers for rigging, staging, lighting, sound, and video.Negotiate service agreements and pricing to ensure cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.Foster positive relationships with national and international concert promoters, touring productions, and event organizers to reinforce PNE’s reputation as a premier venue destination.Ensure both internal and external events have the proper sound management plans in place for their events and are compliant to the city sound bylaw. For some indoor and outdoor events the position will required to be onsite to manage sound levels with the promoter and the community relations team.
Financial Management
Prepare and present accurate technical production cost estimates for concerts, corporate events, and internal projects.Track, reconcile, and report on event technical production budgets and labor costs.Contribute to the development of annual department budgets and long-term capital investment planning for technical production systems.Partner with the Sales. Events, Operations, and Guest Experience teams to ensure cohesive event delivery.Participate in pre-event planning and post-event debriefs to align production logistics with client expectations.Maintain clear communication with touring personnel, management, and staff to resolve technical and logistical challenges proactively.
What else?
Bachelor’s degree in Technical Theatre, Event Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 10 years in live event or venue production, including at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multi-venue or arena-scale operations or touring management.Demonstrated experience managing concerts, sporting events, exhibitions, and large public gatherings.Proven experience working with IATSE or similar stagehand unions.Strong technical expertise in audio, lighting, video, rigging, and power systems.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent budgeting, estimating, and financial management abilities.Proficiency in production and venue management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Vectorworks, VenueOps, Microsoft Office).Ability to multitask and manage high-pressure environments with professionalism and calm.Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.Successful candidates must undergo a Criminal Record Check.
