Ferma are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Commis Chef to join the team.
Some experience as a Kitchen Porter or equivalent would be an advantage, but no previous experience is required. However, the suitable candidate must be passionate about food and eager to begin a career in the hospitality and catering industry.
As an Apprentice Commis Chef you will be:
Assisting in the food preparation process
Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes
Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
Assisting other Chefs
Helping with deliveries and restocking
Assisting with stock rotation Cleaning stations
Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards

As a childcare apprentice, your main responsibilities will be to:

During the Dental Nurse Apprenticeship, you will receive ongoing support, development and training to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to qualify and have a successful career in dental nursing.
Your daily activities could include:
Assisting the dentist in providing safe and effective treatments to patients, from simple check-ups to advanced specialist treatments
Providing patients with a high level of care
Setting up and cleaning surgery
Sterilising instruments
Updating patient records
Maintaining equipment
Preparing instruments and materials for various treatments
Adhering to practice policies and procedures
The use of VR Technology
During your working day, the dental practice will support you with learning the practical skills required, whilst your training provider (Aspiration Training) will teach you the theory side.
Your study will be based online with regular teaching and 1-2-1 sessions.

During the Dental Nurse Apprenticeship, you will receive ongoing support, development and training to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to qualify and have a successful career in dental nursing.
Your daily activities could include:
Assisting the dentist in providing safe and effective treatments to patients, from simple check-ups to advanced specialist treatments
Providing patients with a high level of care
Setting up and cleaning surgery
Sterilising instruments
Updating patient records
Maintaining equipment
Preparing instruments and materials for various treatments
Adhering to practice policies and procedures
The use of VR Technology
During your working day, the dental practice will support you with learning the practical skills required, whilst your training provider (Aspiration Training) will teach you the theory side. Your study will be based online with regular teaching and 1-2-1 sessions. As a Team leader apprentice, you will:
Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit
Deputise the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence
Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift making sure everything runs like clockwork
Making sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible
