We have developed the Paralegal Centre of Excellence, which brings together a range of paralegal skills and capabilities and provides a variety of services to both our lawyers and our clients. A paralegal is a highly valued member of a legal team that has extensive knowledge of the law and legal matters, but is not a qualified lawyer. Paralegals undertake a wide variety of administrative and legal work. The work our paralegals do is a key part of how we deliver legal services and they can choose to specialise in a specific area of the law. Throughout your apprenticeship you will be based in one or two teams (this may include Construction & Projects, Property, Finance & Banking, Disputes, Intellectual Property, Cyber Data & Privacy, Employment, Corporate), enabling you to develop a good understanding of the specific areas of law. You may also have an opportunity to assist other teams depending on business needs. The type of tasks an Apprentice Paralegal can expect to assist with on a day-to-day basis can vary but may include: Helping to manage the documentation required in legal matters, including creating bundles of documents that will be used in court. Helping to create and maintain template documents (precedents) that will be used in legal transactions. Taking minutes and writing up notes for meetings or legal proceedings. Conducting legal research and writing up advice notes. Drafting legal documents such as settlement agreements, contracts, and legal pleadings. Other ad-hoc duties and tasks as dictated by the business and client needs. As you progress in your role, you will be introduced to more advanced tasks to help you build a portfolio and work towards the paralegal qualification. You will be supervised by an experienced MLS (managed legal services) delivery manager and supported by your team, your buddy, and a dedicated early talent team. You will receive full training which will combine on-the-job learning and formal structured sessions to ensure you are fully equipped to succeed in the role. Some travel within the UK and Ireland might be required during your apprenticeship. Argyle Community Trust are looking for an Apprentice Teaching Assistant who would enjoy helping others to achieve, experience success and fulfil their potential. The apprentice should be willing to develop an understanding of the obstacles and challenges that some people face in gaining employment and develop strategies on how to motivate, build confidence and raise the self-esteem of young people. The ability to engage with and relate to people who have experienced difficulties in gaining employment is crucial. The position will be based across multiple delivery sites within Plymouth with some of the administrative role completed in the offices at one of our delivery hubs. The role of Apprentice Teaching Assistant will be to assist in the delivery vocational qualifications and a work-readiness programme for a range of young people and adults with varying needs and backgrounds, this may also include working with our Post 16 delivery team in Plymouth assisting with delivery on the BTEC Sport programme. The apprentice teaching assistant will assist with a variety of 12-week employability and mentoring programmes as well as contributing to our Traineeship courses; they will also play a part in developing our secondary school provision. The apprentice will join the Education and Employment Team and assist with recruiting, teaching and supporting local people to learn new skills and gain accredited qualifications. They will also help with a bespoke mentoring programme that meets the needs of each individual. The role involves working with learners in a group and/or one-to-one, delivering all aspects of the qualifications in a variety of subjects and levels. Reporting to the Head of Education and Employability, the post holder will inspire and play their part in ensuring that every person who undertakes an educational journey with the Trust has the opportunity to achieve. They will play a key role in marketing team to elevate our business results and provide our guests and clients with a positive experience. They will research, write, proofread, and edit all content, implement, and manage media campaigns. Develop and oversee a 360 media strategy for all PNE business streams, including both consumer and business audiences. Business streams include: PNE Fair (summer & winter), Playland, Prize Home Lottery, Fright Nights, Winter Lottery, Group Sales, Facility Sales and TicketLeader.Plan, manage, execute, and optimize all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media, app and display/video advertising campaignsDesign, build and maintain all PNE websites and social media channelsPlan, manage, execute, and optimize traditional media spend for television and radio mediumsLiaise with promoters to provide support for ticket sales through TicketLeader (digital campaigns, emails, social media, etc)Measure and report performance of all traditional and digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insightsBrainstorm new and creative growth strategiesPlan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion testsCollaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize the online user experienceUtilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch pointsInstrument conversion points and optimize user funnelsCollaborate with advertising partners, creative agencies, and other vendor partnersEvaluate emerging technologies. The role is a permanent, full-time position with a typical salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, experience, and internal pay structures.
