Training:During your Manufacturing engineer (degree) apprenticeship, you will receive two types of training.

You will be responsible for:
Providing high quality, first- and second-line technical support for the IT service desk; recording all calls and activities within the service desk tool, within the SLA guidelines

Starting in the Felt Department or Roofing Department of the East 80th Cleveland Manufacturing Plant, the Operator will start up, troubleshoot, and operate manufacturing and production equipment safely and routinely, while achieving or exceeding standard levels of production, according to specifications. This position can turn into a regular, full-time, union position if the employee completes the probationary period. During the probationary period, this position will work on the 1st Shift. If the employee successfully completes the probationary period and becomes a regular employee, the position will most likely change to 2nd or 3rd shift, depending on the Plant's needs.
3-SHIFT FACILITY:
1st Shift: 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (Shift Differential of $0.75)
3rd Shift: 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. (Shift Differential of $1.00)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs work safely, according to safety rules and guidelines, and follows Tremco's Escalation Policy for any safety or quality concerns.
Communicates with Team Lead and/or Supervisor during shift changes and throughout shift.
Understands and operates the HMI at the various stations along the line to keep the line operating safely and efficiently.
Monitors weight, speed, and other metrics along the line.
Operates forklift to move raw materials, load carrier, and move finished product.
Makes raw material batches in the appropriate mixer(s), according to specifications.
Performs quality control tests on the batches, per established guidelines.
Ensures proper labels are being used on the taping machine.
Fills appropriate-sized pails, drums, or totes, labels filled items, and places pails/drums on pallet.
Performs daily housekeeping/cleaning of immediate area and other surrounding areas and departments, as needed.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
No prior education or experience required.
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or similar industry experience preferred.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic knowledge of mathematics-i.e., addition, subtraction, fractions, etc.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
Forklift Certificate and operations experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The BNP Paribas SA London Branch (SALB) business is required to comply with CASS which is a UK regulatory requirement. The full CASS rule book is extensive and there is a requirement to perform oversight over and monitoring of how the business meets CASS requirements to ensure that the business is meeting regulatory standards in full for the SALB entity (CIB2S business line). The purpose of the team is to provide the oversight control of CASS for CIB2S in the UK, to ensure that the business delivers a consistently high quality of CASS compliant procedures and actions in a secured operating environment, while minimising the risk of non-compliance with CASS requirements as they apply to the UK footprint. This will include working with the business to ensure the scope of CASS is understood by the Securities Services business area and that appropriate training is delivered. It will also include the management to resolution of either identified or potential CASS risks to ensure that CASS regulatory requirements are fully respected by the business.
The CASS Oversight team is currently made up of 6 team members and 1 Head of Department.
Working within this team will require you to perform CASS Oversight tasks to ensure adherence to the CASS rulebook. Such duties can include:
Supporting the CASS Oversight team members on day-to-day business activities
Contributing to a variety of tasks or projects allowing a general introduction to the business
Working with various global teams within BNPP to raise awareness of CASS and ensure that BNPP is compliant with the rule book

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Engineering and Facilities Manager is responsible for directing all engineering activities and for maintaining and upgrading the facilities and production equipment. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining/ advancing of a viable and visual Preventative Maintenance Program at the facility and identifying capital requirements for the annual capital plan. Responsibilities also include developing and assisting in value stream design and implementation of lean principles and tools within the manufacturing environment. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with value stream mapping, employee training, continuous improvement event facilitation, waste identification and elimination, problem solving (through the scientific method), work area and station design and layout, visual control implementation, material flow, progress tracking and communication. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with LEAN leadership in eliminating unplanned production interruptions.
Use DAKOTA as the compliance tool to report incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, and to maintain compliance with EH&S.
Work with the maintenance crew to implement the needed preventative measures.
Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
Prepare capital projects for submission to management. Included are costs, schedule, JHA, PHA, and procedures needed.
Serve as lead project engineer for approved capital projects with the goal of on-time and on-budget completion.
Develop and administer a viable and visual Preventative Maintenance Program that reduces downtime and improves overall reliability of production and production supporting machinery.
Responsible for identifying capital requirements for the facility's annual capital plan and budget.
Direct, review, and approve product design and changes consistent with MOC procedures.
Recruit departmental employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
Analyze annual site utility expenditure and develop plans to optimize plant efficiency to reduce costs (ISO 14001).
Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
Integrate the plant PHA initiative with the appropriate capital projects.
Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation.
Interface with leadership, operators, and maintenance to develop needed TPM programs.
Support SPC, DOE's, and other Quality initiatives.
