DAP has an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Operator at our Baltimore Plant!

This position supports the efficient operation of the packaging department by supplying the production lines with necessary materials and transporting finished goods. Below are the available shift schedules:
1st Shift (Monday to Thursday from 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM) Overtime is available/required. Associates earn double-time pay for all hours worked in excess of 50 hours in your standard work week!
Responsibilities:
Operates a forklift in a safe manner following all federal regulations and plant safety rules Supplies the production lines with packaging materials, in-process materials, and/or finished product Loads/unloads trucks and/or locates materials in designated storage areas Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory through activities such as: proper reporting of material deliveries, minimizing wastes, reporting any spills Maintain various inventory logs and equipment (RF scanner) to record material usage Complete all paperwork accurately Assists in physical inventories Upholds acceptable level of housekeeping Works in other areas as required by business needs.
Requirements:
Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing environment Must be able to obtain a DAP forklift certification Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand for periods of up to 3 hours without a break Must wear required PPE at all times throughout the shift (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes) Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others

$19.92/hr

Machine Operator (CNC)
Location: Plymouth Salary: £30,443 per year (including shift premium) Shift Pattern: 0600–1400 / 1400–2200 (rotating weekly)

What Your Days Could Look Like:
Set up and operate CNC machinery, ensuring smooth and accurate production.

Ensure correct tooling is fitted and complete performance checklists.

What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in machine operation.
CNC experience preferred.
Consistent work history (no gaps greater than 3 months).
Ability to work alternate shifts (rotating 0600–1400 / 1400–2200).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment essential.

Set and adjust speed, temperature, product flow, and positions and tolerances of equipment. Examine job orders to determine details such as quantities to be filled, production times, stock specifications, BOM's, and SKU sequences. Monitor filling equipment to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary. Operate equipment at most efficient speed to ensure proper quality and output. Responsibility for the equipment performance, efficient changeovers, operation, and preventative maintenance. Assist experienced NDT Technicians in performing inspections using methods such as Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection, Ultrasonic Testing and Radiographic Testing.
Prepare cast components for inspection by cleaning, tagging and documenting parts as required
Learn to follow detailed inspection procedures
Maintain accurate records and reports
Observe and participate in the calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment
Training:The apprenticeship programme is designed to gain skills and technical expertise to become a certified NDT Operator in three NDT Methods. This includes health and safety training, 1-to-1 mentoring, seminars, practical work experience sessions, and on-the-job training.
The candidates will keep records of their learning and experience throughout the programme and create an improvement plan.
On successful completion of the apprenticeship scheme, further PCN qualifications may be gained.
Qualifications include:
Internationally recognised certification in NDT - Level 2
Level 3 Non - Destructive Testing Technologies Technician Apprenticeship Standard
