You will be exposed to first hand and world leading trademark practice and learn the fundamental knowledge and skills about brands and brand protection.
You will be working for household brands to manage their trademark portfolios and IP rights, ensuring the internal records are up to date.
You will need to be liaising with customs officers and law enforcement officers around the globe (mainly UK and EU). You will be asked to review images and confirm whether the pictured goods are counterfeit.
You will be attending UK law enforcement raids across the country (mainly around Manchester, Birmingham, and Leicester) on behalf of Stobbs’ household clients and providing on-site your assistance.
You will also be preparing legal documents, such as trademark application forms, witness statements, Cease and Desist Letters and criminal complaints.
You will be exposed directly to your clients, who are world famous brands. You will have direct access to their brand stories and confidential information.
You can expect direct client contact in this role, as well as be in full charge of communications with customs officers and law enforcement officers such as Trading Standards officers.
