Working Hours
•8 hours per day
•Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm (Half an hour unpaid break)
•Daily reporting time: 7:30am
Role Responsibilities
•Filling, sanding and painting fire rated timber leaf/frame as required (FD30 / FD60). After remedial works/ installation works
•Maintaining clean, compliant work areas.
•Following instructions from the site manager and working neatly with floor protection.
•Uploading clear photos of completed works as required.
Certificates Required
•CSCS
•Asbestos Awareness
•Working at Height
•Evidence of previous work on fire rated doors (preferred)
Tools Required – Painter
General Painting Tools:
•Rollers, brushes, trays
•Filling knives and scrapers
•Sanding blocks
•Caulking gun
•Cleaning materials
Specialist Tools:
•Electric sander (mandatory)
•Dust extractor (mandatory)
•Vacuum cleaner (industrial preferred)
Minimum door painting expectation - 6-8 doors/frame a day: full redecoration

The Role Automotive Paint Sprayer
As a Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality paintwork repairs and ensuring vehicles are finished to an excellent standard.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing vehicles and panels for painting, including filling, sanding and priming.
- Mixing and matching paint to achieve an accurate colour match.
- Spray painting vehicles and panels to a consistently high standard.
- Polishing and finishing paintwork to achieve a quality finish.
- Inspecting vehicles and identifying any additional repair or preparation requirements.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure all work meets the required standards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area.
What were looking for
- Previous experience as an Automotive Paint Sprayer within a bodyshop or accident repair centre.
- Strong preparation, paint-mixing and spraying skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes.
- The ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- A reliable, motivated and professional approach to work.
- A consistent employment history within the automotive repair industry would be advantageous.
