GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Shipping Team Lead collaborates with shipper/receivers to ensure accurate and efficient shipping operations, provides guidance and support to the team, communicates priorities, and assists in troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts, all while working independently under minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with shipper/receivers to prepare, receive, load, and unload shipments, ensuring smooth operations within the department.• Ensure accurate and quality work by performing all shipping functions, including completing necessary documentation, utilizing relevant software and technology, and inspecting products for quality.• Support and validate team efforts by answering questions, providing guidance, and confirming that tasks align with department standards and objectives.• Communicate daily plans and priorities to the shipping team to meet departmental goals and maintain clear direction.• Assist the shipping supervisor by providing regular feedback on workflow and recognizing when to escalate issues for resolution.• Troubleshoot complex issues with minimal assistance, independently resolving challenges as they arise.• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance department efficiency and effectiveness.• Cross-train in production areas across the facility to ensure comprehensive operational knowledge.• Work under minimal supervision, demonstrating reliability and accountability in daily tasks.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating and processing outbound shipments to ensure orders are accurately documented, properly scheduled, and shipped in a timely manner. This position maintains accurate shipping records, prepares bills of lading and other required documentation, enters shipment information into company systems, coordinates with carriers and internal departments, and supports the efficient flow of finished products to customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assure orders and shipping quantities match picking documents through careful audit of said documents.
Work with Plant Operations, Customer Service and Purchasing to resolve allocation discrepancies.
Help with or complete special projects at the discretion of the Distribution Services Manager.
Ensure good security processes are followed with regard to the CTPAT (driver and visitor sign in).
Answer/route all telephone calls in a polite manner, taking messages and routing to proper individual in a timely manner.
Assists & evaluates needs with shipping points, services, weights & freight permits, and other information needed.
Initiates, answers & documents tracer inquiries when requested via email and/or fax.
Maintains shipping stations are in working order and stock with materials
Notifies consignee of shipment arrival and coordinates shipment information to other offices and/or agents.
Arranges for movement of freight to consignee/agent & updates the system with information.
Route Shuttle Drivers to maximize the efficiency of moving the Production stock to the DC.
Processes necessary invoices to appropriate office for payment.
Enter data pertaining to domestic and international shipments into the company's ERP system and into the shipping systems of commercial freight carriers
Monitor the supply of packaging materials and requisition additional supplies as required
Confirm physical shipment of goods and facilitate tracking of packages
Identify errors on packing lists & invoices and correct them
In conjunction with senior supervisor will be responsible for all outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations.
Using ERP System, prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight.
Ensure that drivers depart with appropriate paperwork.
Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents by strict adherence to standard operating procedures.
Gather, enter into warehouse management system and maintain all data and records relative to shipping and receiving activities.
Complete necessary management reports as required.
Responsible reporting Cycle Counts to Distribution Services Manager as required by identified Cycle Count Program.
All other duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor(s).

As our Batchmaker you will produce paint and related products by setting up, operating, or tending machines to mix or blend materials, such as chemicals, liquids, color pigments, explosive ingredients, or rust-proofing materials.
TASK PROFILE:
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
Stages and charges necessary raw materials into process flow tanks. Follows batch work instructions in order to manufacture quality products.
Weigh or measure chemicals, coatings, or paints before adding them to machines.
Prepares disperser and letdown tank for production, including any necessary equipment clean up.
Monitors and controls high-speed disperser, mixer, pumps, flow meters and other instruments in order to make sure that a batch is produced according to work instructions.
Adjust a batch, under QC guidance, until it is approved.
Get batch tickets from floor supervisor and discuss with floor supervisor the best order. Determine raw materials needed.
Housekeeping - Clean-up work area to 5S standards, takes out trash, participate in cycle count and inventory program.
May assist in other departments such as filling, and material handling or help make sample batches.
Ensure work area is safe, clean and free of recognizable hazards, communicating all spills or other hazards to the shift supervisor.
Responsible for Dust collector cleanouts when required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Supports and validates the work of maintenance technicians by answering questions, coordinating maintenance work, and providing general direction.
Mentor and train new maintenance technicians.
Troubleshoots complex maintenance problems with little or no assistance.
Perform preventive maintenance and work order audits to ensure task completion and process improvements.
Responds to service calls for production needs.

We are seeking individuals with strong leadership to ensure the quality of our products, safety of the facility, and coordination of all plant production in order to reach the best possible performance targets. This individual will be responsible for manufacturing product at acceptably efficient levels, meeting production schedules, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, maintaining employee morale, managing employee schedules, and any employee relations issues.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 years Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
May have to occasionally travel to other facilities or training events.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules. Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and trainings.
Desired Qualification:
Strong Excel and Microsoft skill set.

Physical Requirements:

Responsible for ensuring ISO standards and procedures are followed.
Review and approve time card hours in the timekeeping system by 8:30am every Monday morning.
Communicate improper equipment operation or downtime to maintenance and coordinate required repairs.
Perform annual evaluations and administer training for production employees.
Monitor employee performance, coach, council, motivate, and discipline as necessary.
Secure and lock facility when applicable.
Enforce all company policies and regulations.
Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner as required by procedure.
May be required to train and certify employees on proper use of forklifts.
Perform additional duties as assigned
