Design and develop subsea electrical and optical connectors, pressure housings, and sealing systems using 3D CAD.
Produce detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
Perform and interpret FEA, mechanical, thermal, and pressure analysis.
Select suitable materials for high-pressure, high-temperature and subsea environments, including corrosion-resistant materials.
Support prototype, pressure, qualification, and integrity testing.
Ensure designs meet relevant API, ISO, ASME, IEC and IEEE standards.
Lead or support design reviews, RCA, FMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA, and engineering change activities.
Work with electrical, controls, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and installation teams.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Four relevant mechanical engineering experience, ideally in subsea, offshore, oil and gas, marine, aerospace, defence, or other high-reliability environments.
Strong experience with 3D CAD and 2D engineering drawings.
Experience with FEA and simulation tools.
Understanding of pressure-rated designs, sealing systems, materials, and corrosion.
Experience with subsea equipment such as connectors, umbilicals, jumpers, manifolds or subsea trees is highly desirable.
