About the role and school
Teach Plus are working with a welcoming primary school in Lambeth that is looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 Qualified) to join its Early Years team.
This role would suit an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children's development and creating a nurturing environment where children can learn through play, exploration and positive interactions.
The successful candidate will support children's early communication, language and social skills, encourage independence and help deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with a January start or the possibility of starting sooner.
Job Responsibilities
Support children within the Early Years setting
Facilitate engaging, age-appropriate learning and play activities
Promote communication, language and early literacy development

Ability to support children with varying developmental needs

Post-operative Care
Provide care within both Stage 1 (immediate) and Stage 2 recovery.Monitor patients following surgery, recognising and responding promptly to any changes in their condition.Carry out appropriate post-operative observations and assessments within your scope of practice.Escalate concerns appropriately and initiate interventions in accordance with your professional responsibilities and local policies.Support patient admissions, transfers and discharges when required.Provide compassionate and patient-centred care throughout the recovery period.Act as an advocate for patients and ensure their dignity, privacy and individual needs are respected.

What We're Looking ForEssential Requirements
Registered with either HCPC or NMCAt least two years' experience working within an operating theatre environment either in anaesthetics or as a scrubExcellent clinical assessment, prioritisation and decision-making skills.Strong understanding of infection prevention and control and patient safety standards.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Ability to remain calm and effective in a busy surgical environment.A professional, compassionate approach with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.Commitment to maintaining professional standards and continuing professional development.
