Training:Alongside on-the-job training supported by relatable mentors, apprentices will undertake off-the-job training, during their contracted working hours, to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours to become effective engineers. Successful completion of the apprenticeship will lead to lifelong professional qualifications including:
An Electro-Mechanical Engineer degree apprenticeship certificate,
and a BEng (Hons) Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
Training Outcome:As part of this programme apprentices are required to attend university on a block release basis, therefore apprentices are required to travel and potentially stay over.
This degree programme is on path to achieve IEng (Incorporated Engineer) and is working towards CEng (Chartered Engineer) award. Reporting into one of our engineering teams, you'll work on exciting projects to gain practical experience and insights into our business
Provide basic technical support to users and customers
Work with services such as AWS and programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, .NET, CICS and COBOL, you’ll gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle
Brainstorm and develop solutions with your team, attend planning sessions and work with a variety of people across teams and in time, drive and lead technical solutions independently
Training:
Alongside your role, you’ll study towards a BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions degree provided by Nottingham Trent University
Training will be provided one day per week on Nottingham Trent Universities city campus
