Ferma are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Commis Chef to join the team.
Some experience as a Kitchen Porter or equivalent would be an advantage, but no previous experience is required. However, the suitable candidate must be passionate about food and eager to begin a career in the hospitality and catering industry.
As an Apprentice Commis Chef you will be:
Assisting in the food preparation process
Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes
Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
Assisting other Chefs
Helping with deliveries and restocking
Assisting with stock rotation Cleaning stations
Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards

At Ferma Farm Shop & Bistro, you will be working towards your Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship Qualification over the course of 12-18 months. What your apprenticeship includes:
A blend of virtual and in person meetings with your Learning Coach every 4-6 weeks
A hands on, practical approach to learning to ensure you are able to achieve your goals
