About the team
This team is responsible for dealing with the most vulnerable and in need of protection children in the borough and hold cases long term from first assessment to initial court proceedings when necessary. Working proactively, with a child-centred approach to each case is vital to ensure successful case progression. The team pride themselves on their ability to effectively and efficiently make decisions on cases at all stages of crisis intervention.
About you
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in children’s safeguarding proceedings. Previous multi disciplinary work lends well to the nature of this team. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contracts is essential in order to be considered for this position. A valid UK driving licence and vehicle are essential for this role.
