ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for an Associate Scientific Director, Biology Drug Discovery and Therapeutic Area Lead (Immunology & Autoimmunity) to join a leading, growing organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to pioneering research and development initiatives in immunology and autoimmunity. The role is on-site in Edinburgh.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Associate Scientific Director will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

This is not a traditional software engineering role. They are looking for someone with strong Investment Management and Investment Operations knowledge who genuinely understands the Investment Lifecycle and how investment data and financial products move from front to back office. A strong understanding of IBOR (Investment Book of Record) environments would be particularly valuable.
As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with clients to understand their operating models, investment workflows and data challenges before helping configure and integrate solutions around their requirements. You'll need excellent Investment Management domain knowledge, including a strong understanding of the Investment Lifecycle, Investment Operations, financial products and IBOR.
This is a technically light role rather than a development position. You should be comfortable working with SQL, APIs, data integrations and some Python scripting, but your knowledge of Investment Management, Investment Operations and the Investment Lifecycle is considerably more important than advanced software engineering skills. Experience working with IBOR, investment data, fixed income and other asset classes would be highly advantageous.

Get Recruited are partnering with a growing supplier of premium and luxury goods, recruiting a Business Development Executive/Inside Sales Coordinator. Based in their new showroom and office, you’ll focus primarily on qualified incoming enquiries, with responsibility for securing the sale and coordinating the order through to installation.
This would suit a Sales Executive or Sales Consultant who wants ownership beyond the initial sale. You’ll work with homeowners, architects and developers, handling enquiries generated by digital marketing, referrals and repeat customers.
THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE ROLE:
Respond to warm enquiries by phone, email and in the showroom, understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products.
Use your experience as a Sales Executive or Sales Consultant to handle objections, negotiate effectively and achieve agreed sales targets.
Build relationships with homeowners, architects and developers, identifying opportunities for repeat orders and larger projects.
Take responsibility for confirmed orders, checking specifications, measurements, finishes and accessories carefully.
Arrange site surveys, raise invoices and submit confirmed orders for manufacture, coordinating suppliers, production teams and installers.
Monitor order progress, book installations and address potential delays with the relevant teams.
Keep customers updated throughout, manage expectations and coordinate outstanding issues through to completed installation.
Maintain accurate lead, quotation, order and project records, ensuring follow-ups and project tasks are completed.
Provide updates on sales conversions, pipeline activity and project progress, contributing to individual and team performance.
THE PERSON:
Experience as a Sales Executive or Sales Consultant, with a track record of converting enquiries into sales.
Confidence understanding customer needs, preparing quotations, negotiating and closing business.
An organised Sales Executive or Sales Consultant who has also coordinated customer orders, installations or projects.
Strong attention to detail when handling specifications and order information.
Experience using CRM systems and managing multiple customers simultaneously.
A motivated, target-focused approach, with the willingness to support colleagues and contribute to team results.
Experience selling premium or luxury products is desirable.
A background in doors, windows, glazing, construction, home improvements or interiors would be advantageous.
